European countries, how much do you value our common project? Let's be serious and don't use the memes.
Since I've been living here with the EU, it became super easy for me. I quite oftenly just go to Paris for a few days by train. Sometimes I went to Amsterdam, simply just to smoke things which are illegal here. The countries grew together so much, up to the point that there are shared TV channels and basically no existing borders anymore. I can buy french cheese in my super market and I liked the exchange bros from spain in my university.
Would you throw all this over board and become an encapsulated nationstate?
if only finland wouldn't feel like an isolated island 1000km away from real europe ;__;
and im too poor to travel yet
but yes, i like the EU and my EU brethren
Hudson Murphy
can you guys work anywhere in the EU or do you still need to get a visa for the country?
Thomas Martin
you don't need a visa for anything inside the EU, if for example i wanted to move to germany all i would have to do is inform the officials of my new place of residence within 3 months of moving there
Nolan Torres
>our common project
Ahahahahaha, good one
Owen Scott
You can take a job and you can even buy a nice house and spend the rest of your live somewhere else.
Eli Wright
Bawahahahaha fuck off krauts.
Caleb Moore
I hope France will leave the EU. European identity doesn't exist, I feel french, I feel european as I'm from the continent called Europe, but not as a citizen of the EU. We got no common project, each country has different interests, which is why the EU is just a giant mess costing us a fortune.
Andrew Bell
When I have some money, I want a small summer house on the countryside in Greece, Spain or Portugal.
And? Within your own country you have probebly some leechers too?
Dominic Bennett
Look at the kraut, pricing young hard working Mediterraneans out of their own property market.
The kraut "unironically" doesn't understand why he gets so much hate. Those southern peasants should be glad they are in a union with an ubermenschen.
Aaron Ross
>hard working Mediterraneans
Lucas Jones
yea you can work anywhere, no you dont need a visa
Isaac Turner
As a fellow european I think that we have achieved something wonderful with this project of ours. Now we need to share some of this prosperity with people who are less fortunate than us. We should invite immigrants from more troubled regions of the world to settle between us. United we stand, long live Europa.
Tyler Davis
Look at the ammount of hours worked per year lad
Christopher Wilson
fuck off
Angel Wilson
If I live there, I would spend all my wealth into this country. It would essentially be benefitial for this country. And I like it there more than here. Somebody else from the south could get my job, if he/she wants.
Mason Hughes
Italy for italians.
Assimilate minorities.
Remove muzlimz and niggaz.
This will be the paradise.
Samuel Carter
>having siesta at the office counts as working
Ok
Dominic Lopez
It's time to stop posting Juncker, you're drunk again. Nobody likes the EU.
Austin Rodriguez
I'm quite enjoying it to be honest, but I'm concerned about its future.
Freedom and absence or lowering of barriers are good things, but there are issues that still need addressing, be it on EU or national or local level. >youth unemployment >social isolation and anomia among youth >demographic problems: people don't seem to be interested in starting families and raising children >recently: weak protection of external borders >anemic economic development that also translates poorly into wages
You don't need visa but you do need to prove you're not a welfare leech, otherwise the country can deport you.
Lincoln Cook
>siesta The siesta is a meme.
Brandon Jenkins
Tfw ruski tries to provocate decent people.
Cameron Peterson
Based Giorgio. This for every European cunt.
Noah Cox
They seem quite ineffective at handling the crisis that faced Europe.
The southern economies are still in the shitter, austerity was a mistake.
The refugee crisis was horribly mismanaged.
The eurozone is kind of lagging behind the USA in economic growth.
Jeremiah Morales
Damn you brits really are stubborn
Isaac Kelly
It's time to stop posting Nigel, you're drunk again. Everybody likes the EU.
Kayden Miller
>europeans >decent
Bentley Sanchez
I'm so glad Russia has finally volunteered to accept our migrants.
You can have them all. Shower them in your generosity and with your petrodollars you can't seem to spend otherwise.
Aiden Allen
Czech out this goy
Nicholas King
Today it almost feels like being pro-EU is a contreversial opinion.
I'd vote for FN if they didn't promise to leave the EU and the eurozone, but they do so I won't vote for them.
Asher Green
Your country is a meme
Nathan Gomez
he's right tho
Alexander Richardson
You are pretty dumb. Do you think you just couldn't visit Paris or Amsterdam before the EU? The only thing that has become slightly easier for you is getting a job in other countries, but it's not like you couldn't work in other countries before that (just like you can work in non-EU countries today).
Lincoln Morris
Then why do have to put up with your loudmouthed, unhygienic retirees?
speak for yourself
Hunter Gray
Czech out this putinbot
What are you trying to accomplish by using these primitive labels?
Are you genuinely so arrogant and egocentric that you consider everyone who doesn't share your opinions to be "goy"?
Ryan Perez
So your mother wipes their asses for a bunch of pennies.

>erasmus everywhere you're neet i'm assuming. for young students or young working people liking the eu is the standard

>youth unemployment
They are now reaching their 30's, so they aren't exactly young anymore.
Eli Harris
Basically all the western euro countries were like this till the late '90s
Jaxon Moore
>0.05€ has been deposited in your account
>hip, cool people like me like doubleplusgood ideas
You have no idea. Erasmus leech neets like yourself like it, actual working-class people who have been screwed over by it couldn't give two shits about your subsidized party trips.
Nicholas Morgan
>>youth unemployment >>social isolation and anomia among youth >>demographic problems: people don't seem to be interested in starting families and raising children >>recently: weak protection of external borders >>anemic economic development that also translates poorly into wages that's really a worldwide western problem more than a EU exclusive problem
Jordan Gonzalez
>You are pretty dumb Good argument. Have you ever checked the isa restriction once? I a frenchbro want to come here, he as to apply 1 month in advance and reserve a certain timeframe. You also have to pay 60€. If you want to work here, you need to know German and you have to request a new residence permit every half a year. Without a job or without another who person covers your social insurances, you just can't even stay for very long here. It's similar in other countries. I travel alot and it's a pain in the ass.
To have this freedom is a gift. And what makes you so sure that we wouldn't import any other middle easterner, if we leave the EU? It would cripple our trade relations and would fugg our personal freedoms.
Jace Foster
Member we voted against any treaty with Ukraine in a referendum?
>actual working-class people who have been screwed over by it lol but i'm a working class person and everyone i know likes the eu pretty much no one except old people in isolated villages dislike the eu
Ryder Morales
very happy i will have the option to remain an eu citizen in a country that will not be a member state
best of both worlds desu
Jackson Nguyen
>if you oppose our doubleplusgood project you must be a doubleplusungoodthinker who lives in a hovel
yawn, it's late, Durao Barroso, you should go to bed.
Lucas Rivera
>buzzwords >meme people great arguments and exquisite counter-examples, now please go to bed abuelo
Jace Williams
It's not easy to fix to be honest. But I hope we will tackle this. In Germany we have big differences too, but it gets slowly better. I'm glad to spend monis and help other countries in the union. In the end it will benefit the EU.
Noah Allen
Member we also voted against the treaty of Lisbon? >EU >totally democratic
Andrew Butler
I care only about the money i hate Germans and i will never be friend with them. Those cu-cks soon will be gone at least. I live only for revange and i wait for polish Hitler.
Logan Flores
See, you ARE pretty dumb. You accept all the baggage that comes with the EU, for a few personal freedoms (more like a few inconveniences being removed), when you could have the same "freedoms" via other means (treaties, deals etc.). You are the loser in the EU if you don't do large-scale trading, and shit on everything but profit.
Isaiah Evans
Every one of your posts in this thread is literal Newspeak. Orwell would be so proud.
Asher White
...
Tyler Nguyen
>all the baggage like what?
Jace Howard
i like how you think mentioning a 12th grade book makes you smart lol
Carson Baker
As long as the money stays in the EU it doesn't matter Kevin. Also, you can just move to Spain, if you would feel better for the monis.
Camden Young
he doesn't want to because he's from some protestant state
Grayson Gray
Is there even any good EU countries to visit or live in temporarily?
I have an EU passport, but I've never used it.
Jackson James
>lel imma try hard and shill for the EU haha I'm sure that will prevent them from putting another nail in my country's coffin with new austerity measures bet you don't feel so clever now eh
Leo Peterson
>he's anti-austerity lmao gtfo you fucking podemita
Brayden Kelly
>when you could have the same "freedoms" via other means (treaties, deals etc.).
Something being theoreticaly possibly doesn't mean it is practicaly feasible.
Landon Evans
there's always finland
Leo Nguyen
>10 years later >h-heh I'm sure tightening our belts a little more won't hurt, eh? now time to take the horse-and-buggy and go buy some mud pies, hail Europa!
Kayden Clark
Well, I have been supporting the EU project ever since its beginning both on the international and national levels and I am very glad over what we have managed to achieve in such a short time considering that our continent not so long ago witnessed one of the bloodiest conflicts known to the human kind. Too bad that the future does not look equally bright...
Caleb Reed
I don't know about you, but I'm not about to compromise national autonomy for the sake of convenience. Sure, the EU is great for France, Germany and Benelux but other countries suffer from it.
Nathan Jenkins
>thi, yo voto por los venethuelanoth, elloth noth van a thalbar! it's embarrassing to read your posts tbqh

Aaron Anderson
why dont the eu give membership to russia or turkey or some balkan countries?
Isaiah Ramirez
But we do?
Cooper Peterson
Federalization of European Governments, where single countries (And this in turn means you) have less and less means of actual democracy. An abstruse opaque system where laws which are to be passed, are passed, if the actual people being governed want to or not. Inefficiency in the bureaucratic System. Corrupt lawmakers. Etc.
>As long as the money stays in the EU it doesn't matter Again, you show your stupidity. Maybe read some economy books.
>These things are only possible with the EU Why? There is no reason. As long as a treaty is profitable for both parties, it is a possibility. You must be brainwashed to think that treaties aren't possible without a "EU". Look at european countries that aren't in the EU. Anyway, enjoy your German produced food tomorrow. I am sure some fat piece of shit here profited from it, while finding some dumb "EU" way to evade taxes.
Zachary Hernandez
The funny thing is that for the last four or five posts you've been assuming I'm a podemita. Really shows the breadth of your intellectual horizons.
Luke Johnson
only the catholic balkans
Asher Lopez
you're anti-austerity which is leftist shit anyway it really doesn't matter if your a podemita or not because you're still a leftist shit
Ethan Davis
I'm not even part of Europe and I'm really fond of the idea.
Please accept Argentina into the EU.
Jason Scott
>you're anti-austerity which is leftist shit anyway
The EU unironically makes people stupid enough to believe this.
Liam Carter
>hurr durr leftist -----------> Sup Forums
Julian Hill
>Federalization of European Governments, where single countries (And this in turn means you) have less and less means of actual democracy. who cares. germany is a federal republic and no one complains about muh regionalisms anymore >An abstruse opaque system where laws which are to be passed, are passed, if the actual people being governed want to or not. same as above >Inefficiency in the bureaucratic System. >Corrupt lawmakers. how are any of these specific to the way the eu is build? this is a problem in any country, eu or not
Nathan King
Hope it doesn't mess up, I need somewhere to go if Brexit fucks this country up the arse.
Jordan Hall

You should remove yourself.

EU is a Roman Catholic organization, no heretics allowed
Logan Reyes
it won't get fucked up, the uk is strong enough. scotland will probably leave tho but who cares
Juan Butler
>let me wave my hands real hard and pretend QE doesn't exist or is "leftist bullshit"
Yeah, your Euro-magic doesn't work here.
Tyler Mitchell
>Again, you show your stupidity >Maybe read some economy books These are your facts?
You can't do this with treaties. There is not a single example with another country. And even then, would it not be the same as staying in the EU? You are just closeminded. I'm just a realistic person. Let's wait how the UK independence works out. You value things only when they are gone and not taken for granted anymore.
Caleb Price
you do know where that money comes from right? lol
Carson Scott
Ahem.
Also Greece is Balkan.
Michael Adams
>denmark BIG
Logan Johnson
>you do know where that money comes from right? lol
You were just brainwashed into believing devaluation is not an option because that would break the myth of the inevitability of the Euro and hence the EU.
This may have been open to debate at one point, but right now, comparing the USA's QE strategy and European austerity, it's clear that QE won by a long shot as an effective method of getting out of the recession.
But yeah, keep on waving that starry blue flag, if you can even afford one at this point.
Brody Allen
i forgot about you guys greece is a special snowflake tho
pay denbs
Justin Roberts
>pay denbs we aren't gonna make it at this rate, Durao. Next stop: PTExit and SPExit.
Samuel Scott
if we both ever leave i unironically think we should stick together tbqh
Cooper Wood
lol keep dreaming you cunt
Ryan King
>how are any of these specific to the way the eu is build? to put it in simple terms for you: less influence over governers -> more likely to get fucked over (for their profit)
>These are your facts? Why are you asking a question? Money doesn't equal actual value.
>There is not a single example with another country >What is Norway? >What is Switzerland? >What is every other Nation we are trading with, or are having deals with. What do you think the purpose of TTIP and such is? It's not much different from the EU. Simply put: Some form of council decides over common rules and standards, by which you in turn are governed.
Nolan Morgan
The EU needs an army.
Gavin Green
Of course. We have more in common than we do with places like
