>French march to fight honorably Is that what you call being fucking retarded?
Wyatt Ross
You've got a point about the Ottomans being genocidal and evil, but it should be noted that every single major combatant of WW1 made use of chemical weaponry.
David Long
Mountainjews should have thought of the consequences when they started attacking our supply lines while we were fighting against russians.
Hudson Green
Call it what you will. Back in those days machine guns, snipers, etc. were seen as dishonorable ways to wage war, acceptable only in colonial campaigns. They expected the Germans to be equally noble people. They were mistaken.
Jaxon Davis
True, but the Germans started the chemical weapons race and developed the deadliest types of poison gas in the war. >inb4 BUT THE FRENCH USED TEAR GAS ONCE IN 1914!!
Grayson Rivera
equally deluded
Hunter Gutierrez
They started using the actually effective gas weapons, true, (chlorine), but phosgene (the other deadly one) was French developed. It's the French and the Germans that had the biggest hardon for gas usage.
Jordan Robinson
>Is that what you call being fucking retarded? There's a reason why WW1 is called the last gentleman's war. Despite the use of conscript armies, war was still seen as a rather gentlemanly affair, and the Germans behaved much ungentlemanly. It was the death of the 'civilized' war and the birth of total war.
Hunter Diaz
>Call it what you will. Back in those days machine guns, snipers, etc. were seen as dishonorable ways to wage war, acceptable only in colonial campaigns. Why's this?
Parker Lewis
>ambush them and machinegun them >use deadly poison gas to slowly kill enemy soldiers or flamethrowers to burn them alive >innovation is unfair
Never change, Shitaly.
Juan Phillips
That pic is completely false. It's ironic how you're spreading propaganda while accusing Armenians of doing it.
>According to ProPublica, Turkey is one of "The Top Players in Foreign Agent Lobbying," spending $3,524,632 lobbying the American government in 2007 and 2008 alone.
Jose White
>While the Armenian lobby had been effective in a number of public relations campaigns in the late 20th century, it is now almost completely overshadowed by the Turkish lobby which exaggerated the influence of the Armenian lobby to increase its own lobbying efforts.
Gavin James
The German is an insect that uses the worst techniques and then claim he is better than you.
Jacob Lopez
Nah, they're just better than you in every way. No need for jealousy though.
Mason Reyes
Because those weapons were seen as "uncivilized", and using them against fellow Europeans even though they were at war was seen as something terrible, a dastardly action. It's like playing chess but then flipping the table if you start to lose.
Chivalry was still important in Europe in the early 20th century. Seeing a moden European nation, that to most was the new beacon of enlightment, philosophy and innovation, become a bunch of uncivilized barbarians willing to use EVERYTHING at their disposal to kill or maim enemy soldiers was something that shocked the world.
Now add to that UNRESTRICTED submarine warfare (a new weapon, a new concept, a stealthy machine that can sink any ship WITHOUT warning undetected) and the crimes they committed in Belgium (alongside Austrian crimes in Serbia and Ottoman crimes in Anatolia) and you can see why nobody rooted for the Central Powers.
Even Holland, who at the time was very anti-British, slowly started to align itself with the Allies.
The Germans and Austrians started the war, and then acted like niggers. The Versailles treaty was not harsh enough.
Alexander Gutierrez
>Austria-Hungary >evil
Easton Gray
>$3.5 m in 2 years
That is what, the income of what, 150 mid tier seniority government employees? Where in the fuck is that supposed to be too much money?
Jackson Hernandez
It's definitely more than almost all other lobbying groups are paying if the Turkish lobby is considered one of the highest paying ones in the US. The Armenian lobby was at like $300,000 last time I checked but Turkish propaganda is still talking about the "powerful armenian lobby" while they're spending $3.5 million. It's just to scare Turks into thinking there's a conspiracy and keep them distrustful about anything concerning Armenians.
>According to the Washington Post, "The Turkish government has spent millions on Washington lobbying over the past decade, much of it focused on the Armenian genocide issue
Daniel Brooks
> were seen as dishonorable ways to wage war War is about winning or losing, reducing your power and chances by being "honorable" is pretty stupid.
Isaiah Parker
>$300,000
Well, you need to also consider the fact that something as covert as lobbying will not be properly estimated nor announced, why would it be? Now if this value was for a decent amount but lower than ours, I could definitely believe that but $300,000 covers 300 round trip flights to the U.S. from there.
>"The Turkish government has spent millions on Washington lobbying over the past decade,
Again, this is a vague as shit statement. It could be 5 millions, it could be 500 millions.
Landon Turner
>uses every dirty trick >proudly displays its barbarism to the entire world >show complete disregard for life >whinge about the peace treaty being too tough Germany should've been treated like any other conquered area filled with savages, there should have been a scramble for Germany in the XX century
Blake Nguyen
I'm pretty sure the US has laws on transparency concerning lobbying and if you still think Armenians have political power in the US stemming from anything other than the fact that communities of Armenian Americans exist in some important areas like LA that just proves to me how the idea that there simply HAS to be a conspiracy is engrained in Turks by propaganda

Well war fucking changes, not the fault of the central powers that they did not prepare for it.
Hunter Butler
Wrong, we're the ones innovating, and they copy us. Look at trucks, for example.

armenian genocide is slanderous lie created by turkophobes. and Italians destroyed Parthenon

>Armenians demands more rights You know this son of a bitch cunt who hurt Turks more than anyone "fought" in revolution for more minority rights and involvement in the government right? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Young_Turk_Revolution You know that's why people here likely to believe that instead of that Enver hated Armenians, Armenians revolted and sided with Russia against Turks with hopes of their own country.
>genocide millions of them I swear the numbers go up every time I hear about it, it was like 450.000 to 600.000 at some point.
Owen Miller
I'm talking about this son of a bitch cunt. Forgot to send picture with that post.
