But they also killed a lot of these children and the people who are raping and bombing people are still over there and stronger than ever.
Doesn't seem like a worthy cause to be losing thousands of your own countrymen 2bh

there was no draft, if you went to war you either believed in the cause or you wanted a job.
This is the most fedora post I've read in quite some time.
They're literally rolling in their graves as we type senpai
>the political shit is just bullshit
if i risked my life for the ends that surfaced in the aftermath i would close my ears and eyes to it as well.
The French did nothing in the war m8
Except it basically was considering that the American people had no idea who the hell was actually in office. All they knew is that it was some guy who was a "founding father" and they rolled with it. There was no media presence like there was in even the 1850s.
There is no proof that those elections were anymore brutal than some guys sitting around at the capital arguing over who gets to sit in office next.
not fedora at all, i love america, but i dont blindly support everything that my country does.
if everyone had your mentality throughout america's history we would be a lot worse off.
nah not really, everyone joined for different reasons
some guys were poor as fuck and just wanted a steady paycheck
some guys wanted the free college
some guys were just mouthbreathers who though war would be fun
a very small percentage had a political motive
all that shit flew out the window the first day they set foot in a combat zone though, no matter why they joined, nobody fought for free college, they fought for their brothers
if you never served, you will never understand. in war, there is ever only 1 motive for the soldier, to keep himself and his comrades alive. this is the only thing a warrior has ever truly fought for.
