Too much jewlluminati symbolism in that one I don't know what to make of it beyond my boner

EWS and Paths of Glory are my favorites

EWS, Barry Lyndon, and Dr. Strangelove in that order

Eyes wide shut is more of a Christmas movie.

It's good social satire on life style of rich & satisfaction. You ain't see the bottom of it. I like this film bro !!

No1. The Shinning
No2. Path Of Glory
No3. Lolita
No4. Clockwork Oranges
No5. Spartacus
No6. 2001
No7. Full Metal Jacket
No8. Eyes Wide Shut
No9. Barry Lyndon
No10. Dr. Strangelove

Barry Lyndon. Something about how completely tragic the whole movie is and how much contrast the tragedy is to the absolute beauty of how the whole thing is shot. and dat last sentence in the movie.

The Shining, probably. It's not Eyes Wide Shut because I feel like I missed something, it kinda felt unfinished

>All these Shinningfags unable to appreciate EWS
Eyes Wide Shut is my favorite is well, second only to maybe 2001. I know it's a meme to call that his best anymore, but it's true

Tell me why is a film about the life of a bored married couple your favorite Kubrick film

His moon landing

>1. The Shinning
>2. A Clockwork Orange
>3. Barry Lyndon
>4. Eyes Wide Shut
>5. 2001: A Space Odyssey
>6. Full Metal Jacket
>7. Lolita

I haven't gotten around to watching The Killing, Paths of Glory or Spartacus yet.

Eyes Wide Shut, Full Metal Jacket and A Clockwork Orange.

Im actually starting to believe this idea it all makes sense

he is probably the only director who could have pulled if off 2001 still looks amazingly realistic

your list is backward

*it

>The Shinning
Implying it's kubrick's worst

yaah I kinda get it dude. Paths of Glory for me.

2001 > barry lyndon > dr strangelove > full metal jacket > clockwork orange > eyes wide shut > spartacus > the shining > lolita.

pic related made eyes wide shut briefly shine though. Seemed like kubrick saying fuck you cruise for fucking up my last movie

Dr Strangelove

>so few "Dr. Strangelove" replies
>so many meme answer replies
>Sup Forums

You type like reddit

Shining 10/10
2001 moderate 9/10
Clockwork Orange low 9/10
Barry Lyndon high 8/10 (maybe higher on a rewatch)
Eyes Wide Shut mid 8/10
Paths of Glory mid 8/10
Full Metal Jacket high 7/10
The Killing mid 7/10
Dr Strangelove mid 6/10
Low 6/10
Fear and Desire mid 4/10

Killer's Kiss was the low 6

Still haven't seen a lot of his stuff.
I've never finished The Shining and I have never seen Barry Lyndon, Lolita, Paths Of Glory and Eyes Wide Shut. Which one do I watch and in what order?

Also, The Killing is really good. Check it out if you haven't.

I'd say out of those Lolita and EWS are the most entertaining. BL is the visually most stunning but some people think it's too slow. I liked it though. PoG is not bad at all but it's the only Kubrick movie I waited almost a decade before I could be bothered watching. Turn out it wasn't as mediocre as i had feared. Very watchable.

The Shining is arguably his best.

Eyes Wide Shut was misunderstood.

The entire house sequence is GOAT production design for sure

Eyes Wide Shut is literally Kubrick's ultimate masterpiece and I don't understand why people even try to pretend that it isn't.

...

Clockwork Orange

Why do people like Spartacus?
