Tony dies
Ask someone who's never watched Sopranos anything.
...
No he doesn't
If you actually paid attention to the show it was obvious he did die.
That show is my mom's boyfriend's favorite show!
How many cereal bowl tosses so far?
Average is 17 per season

which episode was your favorite?
How far are you and who do you find genuinely likable?
I saw the first episode, wasn't impressed just a bunch of guidos being guidos. What's so great about this?
Fuck cereal!
Is this bait or are just a millennial waste of space who thinks shows have to be stuffed with fat ass empty headed whores to be great?
I tried watching this once, but all the characters are just so immoral and unplesant I don't know how people put up with this for 6 seasons.
It would be cool if the show was also about another mob family, but they're good and honourable, and the Sopranos are their rivals, kind of like the Lannisters vs the Starks conflict in Game of Thrones. Just something to lighten up the show from seeing this fat depressed psychopath all the time.
are you going to give up during season 3
>It would be cool if the show was also about another mob family, but they're good and honourable
Holy shit, you're a fucking moron.
Your suggestion on how to improve the show is gay, but I agree with the general assessment of the show being unwatchable because of how vulgar and cruel every character is. It just got tiring.
I'm not remotely an SJW but an entire show revolving around guys punching strippers in the face is not appealing.
No he doesn't
He never dies and you're too stupid to understand ambiguity
Fuck off
It's interesting how I found every fucking character as realistic as it gets. All characters in the show had a double nature, some were even more colorful (especially Tony), so I was able to relate to every single one of them, even Ralph and Vito.
This show is often compared to The Wire as to which is the best TV show of all time, and my choice is always this because of how well-written and well-acted its character are.
Also, note that this show isn't really about the mob, it's about the human nature, and the mob stuff is only a device to convey that nature. In a parallel universe, Tony Soprano could've very well been a lawyer or a football player and everything else would play out the same.
how far does one need to have his head up his ass to disregard what's universally considered one of the best, if not absolute best tv series ever made because he thinks the characters are unlikable in the pilot episode?
>about the human nature
In what way?
I didn't like this or any of the Godfather movies. Mafia stuff just does nothing for me. Seems like a bunch of edgy, whiny men extorting honest people out of their money because "muh tradition, its da way it goes." Goodfellas was awful too, but at least it was hilarious.
SPOILER: Tony doesn't have the makings of a varsity athlete.
>Tony Soprano could've very well been a lawyer or a football player
False, he never had the makings of a varsity athlete.
>i wish the sopranos was more like game of thrones
top tier of b8 here lads
the sopranos is basically character study: the series
I wouldn't go as far as saying it's about ALL human nature, but it's most certainly a show about a powerful white american, and I'm not saying this in a sjw sense
fuck off junior, go eat some sushi you fanook
GODDAMNIT, DIDN'T I TELL YOU NOT TO SAY THAT
>how vulgar and cruel every character is
One of the most emphasized elements of the show is why they are like that and especially how they can live with themselves. I don't think it is a show that idealizes organized crime.
More than that, I always found the crime angle was added to make for an exciting show, while the actual focus was to show a typical part of American middle class: very productive, with a lot of can-do attitude on one hand, but also conservative to a point of thickness and literal retardation, emotionally and creatively undeveloped, passing on their trauma on their kids, misunderstood masculinity, avoiding the big questions in life, and so on.
To me, that is the appeal of the show. I took the violence as a mere plot device
what episode are you currently on?
Small hands. That was your problem.
Im starting season 4
So like....5 so far?
Starting
Season 4
I could relate to Jackie Aprile Jr. But he was far from likable. Probably Carmela or Artie or Silvio. Everyone else on the show for the most part is a bit of a douche. But they're still all great characters.
golly that must feel so satisfying knowing you dont have to clean that shit up
...
Mental fucking midget.
