He is in the MCU.
I'll never understand his popularity. He's had more reboots and media than fucking spiderman.
Well for one, he's easier to make a movie about.
Kevin Bacon's "Death Sentence" is basically the Punisher.
Have you ever read a Punisher comic? Frank is based as fuck and all his stories are fun. Rarely, if any, 2deep4u bullshit. Just killing bad guys in fun ways.
hes capeshit for the MUH GUNZZZZ murrica faggots and there are hordes of them
Edgy 16 year olds love him
I know who'd quip at him though.
>He's had more reboots and media than fucking spiderman.
you say this like spider-man is the most character with reboots even though he's not, pretty sure batman, superman and hulk have had more reboots
I don't get it why spider-man is now being used as a character that has had a shitton of reboots nowadays.
>would they give him quips if he was in the MCU?
He IS in the MCU, you stupid idiot.
Mostly because every iteration has that fuck awful origin and forced morality.
>punisher never says fuck
>Mostly because every iteration has that fuck awful origin and forced morality.
What a terrible post, you edgy faggot.
Only Whedon gives everyone quips. Black Panther didn't have any in Civil War
I think it's because his happened in quick succession. Batman 89 to Batman Begins was a long-ass time, compared to Amazing Spiderman to Civil War.
He quips in season 2 of Daredevil.
>punisher that's a big skull
>for you
>if i took that off, would you die
>it would be extremely painful for you
HAHAHA
I literally see red white and blue Punisher skulls on the back of pickup trucks every other day. He's the most popular comic book character for young edgy right wing conservatives (which makes no sense if you actually think about his philosophy for two seconds) because of his "nuke them all", "muh guns" anti-drug mentality.
He actually does say it once. I forget which ep, but I was autistically paying attention to see if they'd let him say it.
Has Punisher ever gotten a reboot purely to keep the rights? Okay then.
Considering that Whedon is in charge of turning every single character into a quip machine, and he hates the Punisher, that's actually a hard call.
If Whedon has his way, the Punisher stops existing, but the studio Execs knows the Punisher sells. So he's in. The question is how Whedon has him quip. Dark & Edgy quips, the usual comedy quips, or quips designed to make the character look bad via flawed arguments, or intentionally failing at quip-making to appear inferior?
Whedon has nothing to do with the MCU anymore though.
Apparently it's ep 3. I don't remember it but I'm so used to hearing the word it just slips past me.
He'd have him quip about things Whedon disagrees with and have all the other characters treat him like a retard
War Zone
>forced morality
le edgemaster strikes again
He's still doing Agents of SHIELD isn't he? I would be surprised if he's not on Avengers 3.
His brother is doing Agents of Shield, but other than that nope. Age of Ultron was his last one and he's pretty much put a hold on making anything creative for a while. I think AoU wore him out.
The 'great power' bs is a retcon right out of Stan Lee's senile sponge brain.
Just like the dozen or so different origin stories that don't start with 'we stole it from Kirby.'
>"Let me tell you something that might be a bit dangerous. I was raised in the streets of hail kitschen. I was schooled in black ops. I have snatched motherfucker birthdays. I was given the title of Punisher. They take a series “The Punisher.” They have a 5-foot-8-inch little guy, whether he was straight or gay, I don’t know. I don’t care. He had never been to special ops. He doesn’t speak millitary lingo. He has never held a real gun. They make him the Punisher. We got 450,000 phone calls [laughs] from everybody in the world saying, “That role was perfect for you. How did that happen?” Most of the people I know didn’t like the series and didn’t watch it. It’s just a classic example of Hollywood, capeshit and the politics."
I only want
> They put the sights on top for a reason
Well i'm sorry to hear that
Because a street level with no superpowers vigilante is easier to make a movie about and attracts a more mainstream audience, it doesn't have many connections to superheros.
Cuz now?
>prime seagal will never be the punisher in the mcu
...
Really just change who he's targeting
God that entire fucking series.
...
Those people just like the Skull, they have no idea who Frank is
