Yeah Tim Curry was pretty good at scaring kids.

How can one man be so spooky?
This epsidoe was even worse
>episode about a stalker going around someone's house and spy on people, and abuse of women
>this is a kid's show
Courage just had a shit ton of creepy stuff.
I used to watch it because it was so good as a kid, but at the same time I didn't want to watch it because it was scary
The fucking clown doctors from Peewee's Big Adventure
>Courage just had a shit ton of creepy stuff.
Courage was the last kids show that legitimately scary and eerie vibe
>your in your yard of your house and this person shows up
What do you do?
the episode of Courage with the pig butcher scared the living shit out of me. I didn't even finish the episode where as it turns out he wasn't even making people into hamburger

Listening to this CD as a child. HOLY. FUCK.
Mr. Hyde from Pagemaster
ALSO: The theme from Are You Afraid of the Dark.
Unsolved mysteries sometimes and Urban Legends a bit.
>UUUUULLLAAAAAA!!!!!!
One of my favorite albums ever
That movie was hardcore for killing off a kid like that.
...
You can never unhear it. Love it though.
Duuuude.
My mum knew I was terrified of that album, she used to threaten to play it if I misbehaved.
Since I grew up it became one of my favourite albums of all time. I watched the live show in Manchester last year, was amazing.

I was so terrified I couldn't even hear the word Mars, even if a love song mentioned it.
But yea, when I grew older, I loved it though I still recalled my horrors.
...
this entire fucking movie. Literally every part was creepy, or scary, or unnerving, or depressing. Theres no fun parts to this "fun fantasy movie!" But I couldnt not watch it as a kid. It was like a car wreck where you cant look away

It still creeps me the fuck out.
Also bretty good and underrated movie tbqh
That creeping bassline at the start of Horsell Common
That unnerving narration
Those vivid sound effects
truly a child's imagination is the most terrifying thing
I'll never experience anything with that level of emotion again ;_;

Scariest part of the whole fucking show most of the time.
The artbook too. I didn't realize the red moss was red moss, I thought it was bloody body parts.

my grandma had the vinyl with the artbook
those fighting machines with the green eyes
I haven't watched it since I was young, but I saw Willow when I was pretty young and it gave me nightmares for weeks.

Nope. That shit was weird as fuck.
STRIDER!!!!
LETS GET THE HELL OUGHTA HERE
This right here
reported ;^)
this right here. the wolf was scary as fuck to me as a kid, and the idea of "the nothing" gave me my first existential crisis.
the book is even crazier. Sebastian goes to Fantasia and rebuilds it all by just thinking about it and saves it completely from the nothing.
But he goes mad with power and starts creating monsters just so he can save the world and he becomes this old testament tier god until Atreyu forms and army and has to fight him
...
Yea, I've never heard about this movie.
This guy from water ship Down.
He scares me because he reminds me of my uncle; hardy, abusive and determined to raise me to fight the British and Loyalist forces in Northern Ireland in the 90's and used to chastise me for being a coward.
I seen this film in the early nineties and asked his wife if it was him in a film and she told me to never ask that again.
My uncle was eventually captures by Loyalists, had his limbs broken by cinder blocks and then shot in the back of the head in a farm house across from us, I remember the sounds. The hard bastard never gave in though.
I freak out when the film is on, it fills me with a sense of dread and even looking at the rabbit in pic related makes me feel weird. I think the man really believed he was fighting for freedom. Makes me sad sometimes, despite the fact he was abusive towards me, probably because I was beta by nature.
...
>Are You Afraid of the Dark.
...
that and these fuckers
>Come on, user. You aren't afraid of swimming in the deep end... are you?

>Started watching this episode after the part where they tell you it a story
>Remember trembling watching from the stairway
>Miss end were it just a story because too spooky
>go to bed thinking all the ghost writer kids are dead
>Horrible fucking nightmares all night long
That shit was too fukkin spooky
I don't know why, but the fucking Ghoulies unsettled me so much.
