21 days here. Wahey

>tfw 28 more days of NEET

>slavery starts again in 2 days.

I start friday
Bit excited 2bh nothing like chilling in the lounge with a cup in hand and a lip full of tobacco with like minded people

>uni never starts
>nothing will ever start

Feels good

uni is fun tho
It gets better each semester, I like my field more and more
>ywn experience the Icelandic Uni Experience™

>University ended 390 days ago
wew I should start looking for a job

i have still 2 months left

For the first time in my life I can honestly say Im looking forward to school starting again.

>have 3 months to apply for uni
>not sure what i wanna study

kind of nervous desu senpai, what are you guys studying?

Don't do it. Life is too short for uni hell.

don't remind me

>it's my hardest fucking quarter of undergrad

at least the one after is the easiest and last

computer science

2 weeks here

microbiology

also if you're graduating from HS and don't know what to do I highly recommend going to a community college first (don't know how it works in Slovakia)

what should i do then? i could take some IT job after highschool but idk, dont wanna wageslave just yet

this is what i will go with if i dont decide, it just seems so boring to me, im at pc my whole life

Im not gonna study in Slovakia 99%, i will go to some Euro cunt and take english classes, i dont see my future here

I love it but desu getting into it with the mindset that it's going to be boring will only make things harder

been out of uni for two years and still work the same part-time job i've had for the past several years

feels purgatory man

mhm i figured it out, i will become genetical engineer and i will fix autists all over the world, i will be hero of Sup Forums

I start my last highschool semester next monday

I'm interested in doing mechanical engineering

Got welding/advanced math/spanish II/civics

I once met a genetical engineer who was a furry and had a similar dream but instead of fixing every autist he wanted to turn himself into an anthro being

if you can please fix him

>tfw dropped uni

I dropped a course and applied for a quick technical one. While I'm doing it I'll just look for work

History and Religion. Aiming to be a teacher some day.

How cute, try this:
>Back in 10 hours

havent left house since break started
ww@

programming isn't boring
you can make whatever you want

>tfw NEET since graduating

i don't know whether to laugh or cry

>tfw old uni is off until the 26th
Not fair tbqh

Two weeks for me, actually. Still,
>just a few more months of interning and hopefully I get my degree

what carrer?

ayyy *high fives*

Finance
*high fives back*

This. Unless you're very outgoing and choose some baby-shit easy subject to study then it's going to be a long and lonely time. You'll make some friends, don't get me wrong, but the memes about it being the best time of your life are bullshit and probably started in the marketing office of some American college.

>school starts in 6.5 hours
>need sleep
>it's not happening

Maybe you are right, but if i dont go ill regret it forever. And i will have to live on my own first time in my life thousands of kilometers away from parents, speaking foreign language, i think its worth it just for the experience

>go back to uni
>flat is freezing cold
>nobody talks to each other
>rent is high
>don't like my so-called friends
>can't get laid
ah yes sublime

>bachelor's thesis is due tomorrow

good luck Hans

what do you study?
and how long are you from finishing it?

Archaeology. Can't say too much or I might dox myself, considering that it treats a pretty specific subject.

I guess I could turn it in right now if I wanted to, but some of the formulations can be improved, and I think I should round off my conclusions a bit more. Also, the title, which was originally just a placeholder, sounds pretty lame.

I got a bone you could examine

I studied law. It's incredibly stressful. Studying law is actually more stressful than practicing it, depending on your area.

Good luck, lad.

Let me have a look... oops.

>tfw internship starts next monday
i dun wana be rrsponsible adult

UNAM?

>tfw have to go back to my dingy apartment in the city from my parents' comfy rural house
>surrounded by so many highrises that I should probably wear a tracksuit
>I have to continue to awkwardly struggle to make friends while surrounded by a bleak cityscape and classic Pennsylvanian perpetual overcast weather
>still two years of this shit to go

Fuck, why can't I already buy a modest house on a massive plot of land just so I can do dumb things with motor vehicles?

What are you studying? Tell me it's not something like Finance that limits you to city-living forever.

Mechanical engineering

Hoping to get a nuclear certificate along with that

Where are you at?

>Im not gonna study in Slovakia 99%
what did he mean by this?

I want to study in an EU country, since I have the right to, since I'm an EU citizen. I am currently 1st year of college where I study the most random subjects that I can't have job with if I graduate them - Jewish culture and language and South Slavic culture and language :/ that I am going to quit after this first year

I am looking to apply to some Game Design course in a Scottish college on UCAS, since in Scotland it's free to study if you're an EU resident. Is there a high chance that I'll be accepted, even if my grades weren't that good in HS and matura (something like SATs)? Do you recommend studying somewhere else?

So can anyone help me?

information systems.

I don't know too much about applying to the UK system, but you could get your degree in Croatia, and do a post-grad in Denmark or somewhere for free in IT or game-design or whatever. Also, if you speak a few languages, you could get a translation job with the (((EU))).

applied maths

hey I study CS in Scotland and applied through UCAS I can answer some questions if you want

Most big eu unis have foreigner quota they wanna fill. I have my eyes on Aarhus university which is in top 100 in the world, but also was thinking about Austria or Italy. My sister studies in Netherlands and she reccomends it eventhouh she had lot of issues there

Law, kinda ok considering we have our own system

So, the deadline for applying to UCAS is 15th January, and I didn't do a IELTS English test, which would be around the 20th January in Croatia. Is IELTS a requirement for every college? I have Cambridge ESOL diploma of C1 with grade A. Will this be enough for proof that I can speak English at a high level?

I was looking at these hotcoursesabroad.com/study/training-degrees/scotland/computer-games-design-courses/loc/76/cgory/cb.3211-4/sin/ct/programs.html
universities, but would I be accepted there, even if my grades in High School weren't that great? Also, on the matura exam (final exams in Maths, English and Croatian that are like SATs) I only got an A grade in English, C in Maths, and D in Croatian. Would they still accept me?

I am really new to all of this college stuff, and am really worried.

stay in your own countries please

cheers

I am pretty sure they require IELTS. The IELTS test costs like 250€ to take and has a duration of 2 years. Why would anyone do a IELTS if they accepted the Cambridge ESOL which has a lifetime duration? Also as for the deadline im afraid you'll have to try again next year. IIRC there are multiple dates to take the IELTS test they run them all through the year.

As for colleges accepting you I wouldn't know that depends on their requirements but the way I got in was throught "clearing" which basically means: If you didnt get accepted by one of the universities of your choice you get to go on a second round where the universities that still have vacant spots lower their requirements for entry.

I also had shitty grades in Highschool (an average of 14/20). I remember Dundee asked for a B at two science subjects which I barely got.

For these applications they look at more than your grade though. You will have to write a personal statement and have a letter of reccomendation

For what reason

economics

we don't need any more people

I take it you are expert on the matter

Hey, if you don't mind me asking, at what age did you get your C1?

correct, now stay in slovakia

Of course you do, where you live i only see """"people"""" trying to resemble some semblence of humanity

youtu.be/NK0Y9j_CGgM

Well, im not going to.

2yung2smart2handsome4thiscunt

just don't come here

h1b= cheap Indian programmers for google

Sounds like excuses desu

>you're posting with literal children

Sage, report, and ignore

>uni already started
>spent most of my winter in necessary winter electronics workshop
>summer is going to be spent in internship
>probably would never have any kind of vacation ever in my student life and maybe beyond

Aight brb changing my plans because of Sup Forums

>dropped our from uni 3 years ago
>this is the year when I get my shit together and start again

I'm sitting here writing my exam and have another late January. Uni starts again 1st of February. Fuck me.

Same.
Thanks for the answer

>I start again on thursday
Feels good 2bh

I dunno dudes, I just want to end my accounting and finance degree just to start to study economics. I just want to be a professor

>Sixth form starts tomorrow

How´s the winter break on the North Hemisphere ?
When I was studying, since the end of the year is summer here, we get December and January free

(Wrote "just" three times)

Welp...At least I'm not going to be an english teacher

literal underage

>Year 13
>18

um, no sweetie x

Kek

Would you prefer a cozy cold break or it is just fine?

My town is close to the beach so practically there is no real winter. I just want to sleep covered with my sheets tbqh

Bet you're not even doing IB you fucking pleb.

>uni finished 6 months ago and I'm still unemployed

History, started in september, already regretting it

Dropped out of uni and have been neeting since then. It's getting a little boring after few years.
I'm thinking of joining french foreign legion. I have an acquaintance that serves there till 2019 [5 years of service contract]. 2k€ monthly for basically doing nothing and 3,5k to 4k€ for missions abroad + extras. Polish army is for cucks who love being fucked in the ass.

why?

>20 years old
>classified as a senior
>year and a half left of uni
>two internships under my belt and maybe another this summer at supercomputing center
>last internship hired me part time at $15 hour doing ez work
>going to complete RHCSA certification this summer
>leagues ahead of anyone in my field knowledge wise

Yet I still feel like I'm behind and don't know shit. Imposter Syndrome is real lads.

good goy

Why?
