hes not wrong you know

My new favorite critic.

cartoon loving manchildren B T F O

Notice how even with that scathing review, he still gave it a 5/10

Not an OMG 1/10 WORST MOVIE EVER CAPESHIT IS DUMB TERRIBLE WAHHHH

Sup Forums's spectra are fucking stupid.

BASED

what a fucking dumbass, capitalizing on and buying into the whole dc vs. marvel fanboyism.

There's a multi-billion dollar industry of adult males playing children's sports with billions of adult males watching rather than directly playing themselves.

99% of males are infantilized yet Sup Forums is assmad over capeshit.

>Doesn't like capeshit
>Watches it and reviews it anyway.

>b-but i'm not a Disney shill! Honest!!!

It's amazing. When I was younger I got into online film critics like Stuckmann since they weren't the typical film critics that I thought were just intellectual snobs.

Now I find myself realizing how shallow most modern, internet film critics are and how shitty their taste is... and siding with the more established, snobbish critics.

What the fuck happened to me?

Also I find it funny that the supposedly non-snobbish critics will often mock a movie that tries to be the best it can be, while praising films that accept their shitiness and are painfully self-aware. It's like they've adopted another, opposite side of the snob coin.

>be film critic
>not reviewing movies you're assigned to

He's completely right. Capeshit fanboys are insecure as fuck.

They don't want to face the reality of their attachment to what are children's movies.

Fuck. I think I found my two new favorite critics.

This Sean Burns dude, and Roger 'Glib Fascmile' Moore.

>Sport is for children

Ok fatty.

Film criticism is virtually worthless in the internet age.

It gave retards a platform and an audience.

Literally Sup Forums: The Critic

How is he Sup Forums: The Critic when 9/10 threads are about capeshit?

That summary perfectly captures TFA. It's competent because it copy and pastes ANH but it's completely hollow and forgettable. Nothing about it is cinematic or memorable.

It didn't even have the deceny to be bad. At least then it could live on in infamy.

>tfw I loved the fuck out of Interstellar
>tfw I'm fine with Mr. Burns trashing it because he at least BTFO Marvel and The Force Awakens as well

At least he's proven he isn't a shill.

The same happened to me. I just can't take critics seriously nowadays.

...

do middle aged men really watch capeshit? lol

The dichotomy between the acceptance of "nerd culture" and criticism of it as just a bunch of man children hopelessly clinging to their childhoods is just so bizarre.

Can anyone defend there is no corruption when this is considered a legitimate review? I'll wait disneycucks

yes, it really isn't that big of a deal. They're just junkfood flicks. However idiots on this board and elsewhere taking capeshit seriously is ridiculous. It's all just blind nostalgia

The following is a list of all capeshit I have seen
>the first superman reboot in our millenium
>dark knight trilogy
>spiderman 1 and 2
>guardians of the galaxy
>catwoman
>burton's batman and the other two
>watchmen
Please rate my patricianity.

>Pretentious, narcissistic douchebags with insecurity issues and Impostor's Syndrome who read a quote somewhere that they're not allowed to like capeshit, and discard it automatically, but ironically feel the urge to flaunt and prove their "superior knowledge" in capeshit threads all day with shallow arguments.

I bet you faggots didn't understand BvS.

The infantilisation is real though. Those that criticise geek culture and it's merge into the mainstream are probably consistent in their feelings. Whereas manchildren and children are probably consistent in their happiness at seeing Spider-Man rebooted for the third time in 10 years amidst the tidal wave of comic book movies and merchandise.

They're having an adverse effects on the rest of the industry. Their monopoly is killing the mid-budget movie.

Why are movies critics so based? No videogames critic would have the balls to talk about the monthly AAA like that

I hope the films are in ascending order in terms of which is best, otherwise pleb

Genuine Sup Forums patricians don't watch capeshit, the plebbit invasion doesn't count.

He's not wrong. It's fun to watch but at the end of the day it's all hero worship and escapism. You'll really feel it when you start getting older and the players you watch are younger than you.

Yeah but you get to a point where you just give up and accept that society at large likes things that you don't. It's silly to make a moral crusade against things you deem unsophisticated.

It's better than people who see themselves as being part of "nerd culture" while simultaneously criticizing it though. Those are the biggest frauds and hypocrites of all.

Yeah let's just wait to see all the other big budget flicks with a serious, grand story.

oh wait that never happens so capeshit is all we got.

>Genuine Sup Forums patricians don't watch capeshit,

Where do these anons post?

>Physical activity is for children

How much do you weigh?

Around threads like this one.
We are a small minority, a fallen rebellion that was once the law, lurking in the shadows of the capeshit infested shithole that is Sup Forums.

>You'll really feel it when you start getting older and the players you watch are younger than you.

I'm already there. Comparing sport to capeshit is just a manchild rationalisation to make themselves feel better about watching imaginary superheroes dress up in spandex and pretend to hit each other.

>It's silly to make a moral crusade against things you deem unsophisticated

I wouldn't call it a moral crusade when it's this guy's job to review films. I don't like capeshit so I don't watch it, but having an opinion is ok. Especially when the genre has consumed all facets of media. It's very, very hard to escape. Some people find it a little ridiculous that enjoying Iron Man and Captain America hitting each other is expected of them.

sports is alright if there's some sense of local community and socializing, but if you're watching some team from the other end of the planet on your television and cheering for them, then it's a little strange imo.

I don't agree really. It can be slightly weird for someone to arbitrarily pick a team to support, but it's not that different from watching and getting invested in the Olympics or something. You're still celebrating peak human fitness and athletes doing things that 99% of human beings can't.
