ITT: villains who didn't face punishment

ITT: villains who didn't face punishment

Years later there are still daily threads about this film. It was a pretty good movie but c'mon...

Well that teenage boy did spit on her and it was pretty satisfying

she should have gone to prison considering Mads could have easily gone to prison, not to mention he got punched in the face because of her.

STOP DISCUSSING THINGS
WHY ARE YOU DISCUSSING THINGS?

...

not enough superheroes for you?

>villains

Should I watch this movie? I just read the first paragraph of a review but stopped to avoid any spoilers. Main take away was that it is "soul crushingly depressing."

This fucking movie made me rage so hard
That church scene was so intense

fuckin little girl didnt know what the hell was goin on she tried to make sense of it with her little brain. not her fault just a terrible dangerous misunderstanding

definitely

how to spot a pleb
>"hurr i'm so mad after watching this movie"
>"he never raped her"
>"i want to know who shot at the end"

a film that portrays the nordic society perfectly

the girl shot

...

Mads didn't abuse her, but someone probably did, probably a family member which made it impossible in her mind to tell anyone.
A normal kid doesn't fall in love with her teacher like that, she was using him as a fantasy to get away from whatever did happen.

>the girl shot
damn...

...

Seriously though, who shot at the end? I kept rewinding the scene but couldn't make the face out.

you realize that makes zero sense, right

A villain has moral agency, a 4 year old does not.

And this is a very scandinavian film, in the sense that there's no one person responsible for all that transpires but rather it's mostly circumstance, and things don't really get better.

It was probably one of Klara's dumb brothers, the same that threw rocks through Lucas' window and set everything in motion at the beginning of it all exposing Klara to pornography by accident.

...

>And this is a very scandinavian film

>no interracial gangbang scene
>no muslims praying to Allah in the streets
>no liberal protesters defending Mads' sexual orientation
>people in general not being autistic

Damien from the Omen. Never saw the last one though

famtastic movie

>A normal kid doesn't fall in love with her teacher like that,

Have you met a little girl before? They do this cringy "i want to marry you" shit all the time and it's not very endearing when pedophilia is such a hot button topic in society.

Literally both of my friends' sisters gave me that line, my own cousin gave me that line. I'm not an irresistible hunk of man juice, I'm just some shmuck.

This is pretty basic psychology and it needs to be put in the proper context of child development, the abuse paranoia doesn't do anyone any good.

yes you should

thing about european movies is that they barely do any marketing. the reason people watch memepool and avengers is because their marketing budget is almost as big as their regular budget, but they're somehow worse than top tier european movies

they are like hidden gems, if someone ever tells you about a good european movie watch it right away

>A villain has moral agency

What about Godzilla?

nobody shot at him, he was just paranoid for the rest of his life because of what happened

Not my reasoning at all. I'm just saying it's interesting how a film concerning false pedophilia accusations has stricken such a cord with this board. There have been hundreds of great films released since this one which have received little to no discussion here. And don't give me the whole "but based Mads" excuse.

I swear to god one time when I was in the shops these two little girls out of nowhere starting hitting on me.

Like I think my parents were in a jewellery shop, I can't remember how old I was, maybe like 13 or 14. I got into this argument with my little sister, and these weird two little girls, can't have been older than 10 just start coming up to me like "she doesn't understand you" and asking me a bunch of weird questions.

A lot of weird stuff has happened to me when my parents left me alone in the shops but that has to take the cake.

It's MRA propaganda.

He was punished hard at the end. His entire high-tech life thrown away and him pushed back into the farm he despises.

Mr. Brooks wasn't the villain of the movie, Dane Cook was, and he got decapitated with a shovel for his trouble.

>That church scene was so intense

This fucking face holy fuck.

>posts the DVD cover
Bravo.

Or you could say, "Everybody shot at him."

>>He was punished hard at the end. His entire high-tech life thrown away and him pushed back into the farm he despises.
he has a harem now though

You're the load your mother should have swallowed. End your life.

Parallax in The Parallax View

Phenomenal movie desu

How would you even punish her? No ice cream for a week?

It's a film board, are you implying something?
If not, quit shitposting. Thank you.

This movie is pure kino, one of the best of it's gengre.

>And don't give me the whole "but based Mads" excuse.
I hate to break it to you but it's literally "muh Mads"
It's their husbando and this is arguably his most "patrician" film, so of course they'll keep talking about it.
Movie itself is incredibly overrated.

>99% of Sup Forums is capeshit, pedoposting, memeposting, and feetposting
>getting butthurt that someone is actually trying to discuss a movie just because its old

The movie came in 2012, sorry, didn't realise we're not allowed to discuss movies from before 2015. I'm guessing you don't take exception to all the lotr or star wars threads, even though they are about older movies?

>pedoposting
Thanks for proving him right.

and by the villain you mean the girl right?
