The one with Jamie Lee Curtis.

All of them were fucking garbage and contributed to the fact that the horror genre is complete shit and beyond repair.

Salty.

It's arguably due to the director actually having relevant and varied prior experience, as well as being a fan of the genre, rather than just some hack for hire

This installment was actually crafted with love and respect for the genre and it translates to what we see onscreen

This guy gets it.

I have a soft spot for the original.

Thanks bro; tho I really should have proofread before I posted

>The genre, the genre

Damn. Can't argue with that. This movie marks the beginning of zombie campy Jason and I love it

...

Part VI was a fucking parody. It started with that stupid James Bond bullshit and just went downhill.

so what does jason do every other day of the year?

Jason X was the glorious apex of the series.

2
>dat tan booty
>dat bush
>still at a camp

Rape

>Not this

>Official

Really?

Original is best.

I'd say 1, 2, 4 and 6 are my personal favorites. Freddy VS Jason is great fun too. Having said this, I much prefer the Halloween series and The Burning. Oh and My Bloody Valentine (The unrated version) is good fun too.

They couldn't say it if it weren't true, user.

You question the veracity of Hebe Kikestein, CEO of Manwin?

...

stupendous tits

jason vs carrie

I've never seem the remake of My Bloody Valentine. Is it a bowl of hot shit or what?

You could always count on the Friday series for sluts getting fucked then rekt.

Jason takes Manhattan has my Waifu.

yes

Jensen Ackles shows that he cant be anyone but Dean WInchester.

X has some great kills.

Any anons seen pic related?
It's long, ideally watched in chunks, but p good and informative

Whats this senpai? Is this available to stream anywhere?

Freddy V Jason was great. And it preempted all this shared-universe fad we have today.

The remake was pretty awful to be honest. So generic I think I fell asleep twice. I honestly can't recall much from it. But the 1981 movie is comfy as all hell.

I used to jerk off to this scene in Jason Goes to Hell all the time.

Near 7 hour retrospective on the series featuring all the key players from each installment

And yes, it's available from all the usual sources ;^) was even our youtube for a while (still might be)

Cant Argue Friend, for some reason this was the first one my bro and i managed to watch one evening on vhs when our parents went out like 22 years ago.

youtube.com/watch?v=I7NEQnVstRU managed to spawn this so cant complain much

Trivia fact: the goth in part 5 is the daughter of the "Andale!" mother in Nightmare on Elm Street III & IV

...

I always came right when she got split in half then would feel bad.

7 fucking hours?!

So they never came back? ;_;

Yes, it was difficult to masturbate to Jason movies. Timing was everything.

6 hours 40 mins to be exact senpai

Watch in chunks, totally worth it

>Control F
>No Final Chapter

This is why Sup Forums is the worst board.

me on the right.

The one where the guy in the wheelchair gets a machete to the chest (face?)and then falls down an unnecessarily long set of steps.

Part 2. I'd say that and part 5 are the most underrated in the series. It's a shame Jason hasn't killed more cripples since then.

Hey McFly!

5 def has the best selection of tits overall, needed more Feldman tho

Jason X manages to somehow be the best and worst entry in the series.

No, I cry all the time now.

What went wrong?

It's a fucking shame all the kills got mostly cut from part 5, could of easily been best in the series.
Dat Corey Feldman opening tho.

too bad its the absolute worst horror sequel ever

Let me hold you, user; not least cos you just missed out on those sweet, sweet quads

Nothing.

Jason Takes Canada

>it's a jason kills holograms by stuffing them into sleeping bags and whacking them against a tree episode

It's cool to have a film series you can just openly admit is total fucking trash, everybody agrees, but you and everyone else still loves at the same time.

It's nice when we can all love something despite it's flaws.

Not a thang. Great action movie.

Similar to all our wive's autistic nog sons

The director knew exactly how to handle Freddy, but no fucking idea how to do Jason.

I mean Jesus, Freddy was originally going to rape young Jason in the first draft.

>How did Jason get from the cruise ship to New York?
>That's open for interpretation.

So close

And it's the only one really, the original F13 was nothing more than a giallo knockoff, especially of Mario Bava's A Bay of Blood

Always wondered that too, You could say he swam but it just blows the whole thing of him not being able to swim/being afraid of water out of the ummm...water.

He walked on the ocean floor all the way there.

The big three are all derivative of euro stuff: Halloween of Argento and Nightmare of Bergman/Bunuel

>A lake has tributaries

>Part VI
Fucking reddit movie with le ebin humor. Part IV is the best one cause that one's unintentionally funny

This and Never Sleep again are fucking great

Agreed. Wish there was something similar for Halloween

Maybe one day

I wouldn't say Nightmare is particularly Bunuelian or Bergmanesque. If anything it's closer to the Lumiere Brothers. Though it's so unique it's reaching to find any film that massively influenced it's aesthetic.

He doesn't develop this phobia till Freddy Vs Jason

pt. 1: only one with a good, surprise twist. A classic
Pt, 2: cash-grab garbage sequel
Pt, 3: they tried to make a better cash grab sequel with 3d fx. For the most part they succeeded
Pt, 4: nasty, ugly, mean-spirited sequel that catered to the most prurient of tastes
Pt, 5: exhaustive sequel with a horrible surprise twist, prurient and as vile as 4
Pt, 6: lowbrow parody of Jason voorhees, goes for funny but strikes out, still the best sequel since 3
Pt, 7: Jason vs Carrie. Cringy and horrible
Pt, 8: ridiculous
Pt, 9: rubbing jason's supernatural dick into the dirt (literally) meh
pt, 10: the inevitable "in space" version. A pile of dreck
Freddy vs Jason: a better parody than part 6, this one actually had some good laughs and gore. Not bad but nothing to write home about

Nightmare draws (like Last House) at its conclusion from Virgin Spring and, I'd argue nightmare imagery throughout from L'Chien Andalou

Fair enough, but F13 is the most obvious and least innovative of the three

I enjoyed the venality of 4 and 5 user, really drove home the nasty, pointless mien of the serial killer mindset

True dat, but it's indicative of the film school mentality that prevailed thru 70's American cinema

Water is his weakness throughout the series.

Part 5 is a riot

OH SHIT TOMORROW'S FRIDAY 13

You best start believing in Friday the 13th.

You're in one.

Word life.

4 > 6 > 2> 1 > 3 > 7 > 5 > 9 > X > 8

I love them all though.

>Excellent nipple placement

That scene was so gratuitous and long it actually got boring. I'm watching a horror movie not Skinemax. I almost expected to see Jason beating off behind a window

Part VI is a very comfy flick. Perfect for Halloween and a few beers.

Reagan years were THE comfiest for genre kino in general

Not casting Kane Hodder as Jason. Other than that, nothing.

Or just movie night with friends. It's just that watchable.

>So, what WERE you gonna be when you grew up?

Or tonight, seeing as it IS actually Friday The 13th.

Have you seen Last House in the Woods, user? If not, I'd strongly recommend it; ignore the generic title, it is tits

I second this.

nah, will check it out.

...

5 is like an awful fever dream. Very entertaining.

6 is probably the most well made and goes for a Zemeckis-like tone. It stands out pretty well.
