What'd you all think of Zodiac (2007)?
What'd you all think of Zodiac (2007)?
It's too bad that it was all a dream
There's been a lot of documentaries on it, and making a movie wasn't done until the killer was dead, so I think that's kinda based. there's sort of a meta thing with it.
Like the killer was drew carries crossdressing brother.
I liked it.
fucking drunk
My 2nd favorite movie behind Magnolia.
I watched this 4 times in the last week.
I'm actually reading Robert Graysmith's book right now.
Nothing that special.
wat
I don't remember much now, but I really liked when I saw it.
Well the Zodiac killer/killers always wanted a movie made of the killings. It's one of the few things they/he talked about.
So the movie itself is kinda WEIRD for it to happen, unless we know who he/they were and that they/him died.
...
Don't they survive?
Kek what a shit flkck
Girl died
Guy survived
Fucking pleb.
Fincher knows how to portray violence. It is not glorified one bit, you just feel the pure negative emotion from it. From rape to knife stabbing, same feeling of dread
is that ted cruz?
It's fantastic. A modern classic. Fincher deserves great credit for weaving a narrative from such a sprawling clusterfuck of a case. The movie is great in its visuals, atmosphere, pacing, casting, production designs and special effects. It subverts a lot of the genre's tropes as well - the killer is omnipresent in the first 40 minutes and then disappears at which point it becomes a presentation of paranoia and obsession for the men on the case of a virtual ghost. The film depicts realism, frustrations and dead ends better than any of its counterparts. There's some extremely memorable scenes that stick with a viewer long after they've watched it.
I fell asleep at the cinema.
get a load of this guy, probably signals when he turns, too
yes
It's what happened in real life you tard, the guy survived
>millions of people wanted this creature to have the nuclear codes
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Absolute masterpiece, Fincher's best.
Inappropriate and already outdated CGI for recreating old scenery. Otherwise its actually pretty great.
First hour is a decent slasher. Next hour and a half is a great crime drama/thriller.
what the fuck was in that basement
just a really spooky guy
the fuck is on his lip? is it the herpes?
If they had guns they could have fucked him up
Top 3 film for me.
leddit and fedora b8 that clearly knocked off Memories of Murder
shit meme flick by a shit meme director
What did he mean by this?
this scene man
>outdated GGI
for the city landscapes? I only noticed the CGI once and it didn't feel out dated, just 'oh hey this isn't real'.
This scene was horrific the first time.
I thought it was too long the first time I saw it but its pretty good. I like Dirty Harry more though
One of the best Hollywood thrillers of the century and a great film about San Francisco.
Fucking horrifying scene.
...
...
It's been a while, but I remember feeling so fucking tense during this scene. Even if I couldn't tell you what happened, I still remember how I was about to piss myself in fear.
