I would agree if it weren't for the fact that there aren't a great deal of bands that can be considered great in the genre, much less a continuous flow of them that desereve an entire month of threads dedicated to talking about them.

I'm not sure why we need these threads to have decent discussion about the genre. That was the only reason I even visited nbbmn. There was some people recommending a black metal general. Regardless of whether or not it lasts, it makes more sense than "nothing but black metal (insert month name)."
