If it has Daniel Jackson or O'Neill in it, it's Stargate.

STARGATE THREAD!

...

...

Yeah, while SGU was pretty shitty, Sgt. Hooch, Lt. Tits, and Hey Guys Lets Fix the Galactica threads were pretty top tier in their day.

>It's an Eli is so fucking beta it hurts episode.

>Lt. Tits

They were ridiculous weren't they.

SGU was comfy as fuck, you all can go to hell. I think the other series were probably better but i still enjoyed universe. My biggest beef was the plot went insane really fast. I remember thinking, ok where are they really going to go with this? I guess the answer was cancelled. Still miss it though

That one was great.
That one was on point, but kind of depressing because of it. So much soap opera bullshit in SGU.

>it's a "Give the beta nerd a QT love interest then kill her off right when he gets some hope" episode
Really twisting the knife.

Cry more, everyone here watched it and it had some good parts but don't act like it wasn't garbage for most of the reasons stated.
>I remember thinking, ok where are they really going to go with this?
They didn't go anywhere with it. The second season, while improved from the first, was shit because they really dropped the ball with the Lucien Alliance characters that at the time made up half the population of the ship or something. Similar to how Voyager completely dropped the ball with the Maquis-Starfleet tensions in a hostile alien environment, SGU showrunners did jack shit with the LA characters (except for a token love triangle), until they were brought out as monster food in a random weekly episode.

My favorite part of SGU was that imo they did a great job of making it "feel" like they were lost way out in space in some weird alien ship. A lot of shows failed pretty hard for me on that. For example voyager, a lot of the time i had to remind myself they were lost way out there, felt like just the average trek show a lot of the time. Feel free to disagree on that, as i'm sure a shows "feel" is pretty subjective

I agree, especially with Voyager being completely shit at it. SGU I think did do alright in that regard, but the problem is, especially in the early seasons half their episodes were still somehow set on fucking Earth because of those stupid ancient seeing stones. They completely overused those in the series.

hey guys let's fix the galactica

>It's a 'Ra was your first crush' episode.

The ship was seeking out an apparent signal emanating from the centre of the universe. What do you think it was? God?

do you mean what the show was implying or what it really would be? I think the show was implying it was jeebus or something but in reality it would just be some advanced alien civilization or some weird solar event they mistook as a signal.

Actually wait, now i'm remembering that super advanced alien civilization that they said could build planets and shit. So ya prolly that

>power sources are indiscriminately interchangeable
this flares the autism
watching SGA now

I have adapters for power supplies now, don't you think they will have much better ones in the future? Derp

let me know the next time you plug a 9v into something that takes AA's

I gurantee I could do that in about 10 minutes. I'll just open whatever it is up and cross the wires or some shit. Not that hard
