If Coruscant, RotS era clonetroopers/police dealing with smugglers (YOUNG HAN11!!!1!1!) and ending with the rise of the empire.

If Hosnian Prime, black girl who died in the movie is the main character and they explain all of the shit they left out of TFA, ending with Starkiller.

Set it Rebellion era.

Main character is a Han Solo-ish character who find herself/himself working with the Rebels.

Depends on the budget I suppose.

Star Trek can get it to work, so I think a show about the captains of a Star Destroyer and their space drama could work. That is assuming that it is a reletively small budget though

I don't think you understand how rediculously easy it is to make something glow in post production

No jedi would follow characers like:

-imperial marshall with a robotic eye that he uses to run probability regressions and sense ppls hesrt rates

-defected imperial scientist turned radical terrorist

-death stick abusing bothan hitman

-rebel sharp shooter who needs to get back in the game after killing a kid

-cicero type politician in the imperial senate frustrated at the emperors attempts to curtail their influence
