probably some third world brown shithole like New Zealand
Ukraine, Serbia, Romania
im guessing somwhere in africa
did you know you cant actually buy land in Romania
Ukraine. Good luck making money of it though.
Are you talking about somewhere you might want to move to, does it have to be a first world country?
yes, to live on. ideally i dont want to work much unless its interesting work.
if i wanted investment properties id buy Cambodian city apartments and houses and rent them out. give it 15 years.
I'm not talking investment, I'm talking subsistence.
Somewhere in Africa
But it's going to be lawless
Alaska will pay you to live there, but the actual cost of living is really high and the money you get doesn't fully cover costs
Cheapest area here is probably the midwest. Lately I've been seeing land for around $800 to $1000 per acre. I bought an old farm with 20 acres @$500 per acre 15 years ago.
I live cheap and work 6 months a year, then fish, hunt, and drive snow plow.
Fiji have no property tax.
interesting, ill look into it. its funny how America seems to be the better place for cheap land worldwide. probably because of the lax regulations you guys have (did you know any electrical work past changing a light bulb is illegal in Australia unless youre an electrician and even then youre not allowed to do your own electrical work).
what sort of soil are we talking? mind giving me some locations? what about property tax?
Zimbabwe, best farming land. It used to feed all of Africa before Mugabe.
I bought an old farm on a river, the soil is pretty good all over the midwest. My house and land gets taxed at about $800 per year, but it varies by county and state.
I would check Michigan or Wisconsin, I don't know how cheap land would be in warmer areas.

This calculator shows property taxes state by state
What the fuck is that
a small house
>that architecture
I bet they thought they could build a real house after playing a bit of minecraft
its india brah, 0 regulations or skills.
Is cambodia going to be the next big thing since the Wii?
You don't need a big house if you don't put a shower or toilet in it
where is cheapest land and cheapest to build something?
Want to build a manor house
you missed the initial stage but the moneys still there if you know what youre doing. the difficulty comes in buying land, which you can only do with a citizenship. this means either marrying someone or living there for 6 years or doing an illegal bribe for 50g. its not worth the immense hassle to set up considering its a pretty shit country right now.
Cambodia is already pretty big in the child prostitution market.
USA has plenty of cheap housing and farming land and it's a first world country.
surely the police plant them right? child prostitution seems so easy to stop if its illegal
even though i wanna farm, the usa feels like it woild be the most boring place to farm. the unions screw you over too and force you to farm corn. 90billion corn subsidy isnt it?
Nah it's probably meant to have a second floor.
And it's small but you can see another house in the background so maybe it's just a room
Where did you farm previously?
Some farmland prices from where I live
cropland: 2050 $/acre (3000 $/acre for irrigated)
pastureland: 1290 $/acre
Cereal farmers here buy land in Romania and Ukraine to farm but they are already well established farmers with probably a lot of money to invest. Farmers harvesting cereals are the only rich farmers in France.
Australia. only difference is not as a commercial farmer. i sold produce and sold my sheep's wool but it was on a small 1500 m2 block and wasnt my main job, so i have little experience with commercial farming
America and Canada have some really cheap good land.
I paid $16,000 CAD for a 2 bedroom house and 4 acres of land that grew wild blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries, plus hunting for a bunch of species and walking distance to fishing spots (flipped it for $25k)
>the usa feels like it woild be the most boring place to farm
Why, not enough dingos? We have coyotes and fox
> the unions screw you over too and force you to farm corn.
I know many farmers, never heard of this.
i thought its one of those things you put out in the back yard so you can store your outdoor chairs and grilling stuff and lawnmower and things like that

`murica,looks comfy 2bh
just my understanding, probably better in real life. idk i just have a prejudice against america for farming. i imagine hot wheat fields in the south west, though i know its probs better than that.
could be but the double french windows and decent door hint elsewise. a sheds usually metal anyway
central yuropoor countries are generally hate foreigners buying land, so they try to make it virtually impossible.
Discounting the inflation, you only profited 30%. Would get richer by investing in a 7% year fund.
You must farm Oats brother
