A working class buddy comedy where one of their friends moves back to their hometown after being incredibly successful as a business man and losing everything in a divorce.
They have to remind him of his hometown values and help him reunite with his highschool sweetheart, who owns and operates a bakery now and has never loved anyone quite the same way.
Each of the characters will be your typical male archetypes, but harmlessly neutered in a way to keep things light and avoid overt misogyny, homophobia, and racism. Some of the guys will be villains, like the highschool girl's current boyfriend who is an asshole like the protagonist was before his divorce, his wife's sleazy divorce lawyer, and one of his friend's boss who won't get off his ass (turns out HE'S misunderstood too and is just trying to cope with a floundering divorce, a lot of bills and workplace stress).
They die at the end in a car crash.
