why?

How?

What?

Huh?

Bane?

...

I've never watched the movie, but ever time I see that cover I can only see a tiny midget in armor threatening a young woman.

I like it alot, Kinski is a madman

HE THROWS A TINY MONKEY, THIS FILM IS ACTUALLY GENIUS YOU DUMBO

This. Is there a gif?

If this isn't bait, please kys OP. Herzog films with Kinski are God tier.

I don't have a gif of it, but theres a youtube video of it if you just gotta see it

>Truly, I am Aguirre: The Wrath of God.
Really, Werner?

He isnt gods wrath gods wrath has been done to him but he is too arrogant to see, still.
>Its obvious when you see the actual subtle nuance of the monkey throw, itself.

>GUYS, LOOK AT HOW SMART I AM
>Oh wait a minute, it's just an extended prologue to a mediocre slasher flick
Can't really decide which scene was more cringe-inducing, Caleb punching the mirror or him randomly quoting Oppenheimer.

I was putting off seeing this movie for so long, expecting it would only show me things about cyber ethics and humanity I've already seen before and better, and I was right. It's by no means a bad movie and visually appealing, but Garland is way too full of himself.

Also, Alicia Vikander has literally no ass.

This, OP needs to take a dive off a tall building.

...

t. niggers

The scene in aguirre where he says he plans on banging his daughter is pretty startling when you consider the evidence that came out years later about Kinski actually raping his own daughter.

My choice for most overatted film is goodfellas, I prefer those old French crime movies to American ones.
I watched goodfellas twice and could never get into it due to the dialogue, overacting, cliches and couldn't get into the characters, sorry =

Faggot.

The definition of mediocre.

I grew up with the cartoon and Burton's Batman films and preferred those, liked Ledger's joker alot but that was it for dark knight, found Bale very un-convincing as Batman.

You need to watch the Herzog documentary "My best friend" if you haven't already.
I enjoyed it enough but it had stop/start pace and was kind of predictable. To each there own but I honestly think she's an absolute knockout.

>implying you wouldn't want to rape probably the biggest semen demon of all time

pure kino

Of all the movies to pick on, this isn't the one senpai

what are some more beautiful landscape/scenery movies?

OP is a faggot. OP is always a faggot, go back to your capeshit.

hehe

The girl playing Aguirre's daughter isn't Natassja, moron.

Aguirre never said he was going to rape his daughter, idiot. Stop projecting your own perverse fantasies.

Ah shit, remembered wrong, at least I remember him yelling he'd marry his daughter though.

Every time I see this movie, I always think about how chaotic production would be if Werner Herzog had made a film adaptation of LOTR. Filmmakers don't take enough risks nowadays.

Retard samefag where the fuck did I imply that

The documentary on Herzogs Fitzcarraldo is particularly interesting in regards to the production troubles thing.

I know, I've seen it. Werner Herzog is a complete badass. There's this part where he's on top of the boat as it's going down the river and he's smoking a cigarette while casually dodging tree limbs.

>smoking cigarettes
>badass

It's no longer the 50s kid.

See its dragging the real boat across the bloody middle nowhere jungle thing I totally respect more than the cgi nonsense we get today in films.
Strangely I have only seen the documentary, not the actual film. I also liked Heart of glass, aguirre, woyznek, strosek. I like his pitch black humour. Kind of scared to watch his bad lieutenant remake though, Cage is so hit or miss and I loved the original 90s one.

I never said the smoking a cigarette part is what made him a badass you retard. It's the fact that he can be doing something incredibly dangerous while being completely casual and fearless that makes him a badass. Any filmmaker nowadays would be acting like a chickenshit in that situation. They wouldn't be in that situation to begin with because most filmmakers nowadays don't have balls.

>Kind of scared to watch his bad lieutenant remake though
It's actually not a remake, it just has the same title as that film. Werner Herzog even admits that he had no idea the other film existed and never even seen it.
