What this guy said.
Also you have beautiful handwriting.
Since nobody will explain it to me in the other thread though.
What is the practical application of cursive in the modern age? I was forced to learn it and I only ever use it for my fucking signature.
americans are unable to read this hahaha
dumb fatties you got burgermeat for brains
t. european intellectual
>Americans are unable to read this
I support this message.
Whenever you need to write something and you can't use electronic devices for some reason. Cursive is a lot faster to write
you got what?
>a fucking filipino has better handwriting than you.
op can you even recover???
I couldn't make out "burgermeat" desu.
OP has bad handwriting and takes pictures on a potato
>What is the practical application of cursive
it's quick
That's a fair argument I suppose, but it seems to be the absolute only argument.
For me it just doesn't matter. My handwriting is garbage that I never tried to improve because I've always been a computer nerd who typed everything.
I just honestly think schools will benefit from axing the practice, and focusing on something with more real life application behind it. The meme being pushed is mainly because some US schools have done just that. Figured it was useless, and axed it.
Nigga, it's not really that hard to learn and it can still be useful in the modern age, so why not? You Americans are too pragmatic.

OH ME DUMB FREEDOM LOBER

I NEED TO GET ME A BURGER BEFORE THE GOVERMENT TAKES AWAY MY GUNS
Go back to preping the bull belgium cuck
Horseback riding could still be useful in the modern age as well, and yet I opt to not learn it due to a lack of interest, and because there are better things to learn.
Most long writing pieces are typed up now days. Essays, letters, this fucking post.
I really don't see what's wrong with being pragmatic with the education system though.
I learned it in school, I can do it, and I have literally never used it outside of confidentiality agreements on college entrance exams.
...
How do Americans fill in written exams at a college level?
Without cursive that shit would take ages
So we should just forget how to write altogether? Learning cursive is part of learning your own language.
I don't understand this "printing takes forever" crap.
It doesn't.
Also, the last exam I took was computer-based, I just typed up the essays.
...
It looks awful and it takes forever when compared to cursive, specially so when you need to write a shitload in a short period of time
>OP has bad handwriting
the thing about cursive is that the more legible you make it, the longer it takes
print can be done at a reasonable speed and highly legible (small caps method)
>"printing takes forever" crap.
Like print writing or printing? Tests that aren't programming or whatever are basically never computer-based here.
>You have seen nothing yet this is how I normally write, especially when I have to take quick notes.
Try harder for the internet people Bartje
