Is it officially canceled now? It was pretty comfy for a procedural show

Was this supposed to be Harper?

>tfw Shaw/Root African safari reunion next episode

Did anyone else notice the holodeck wallpaper and think this episode would turn out to be a simulation too?

Or maybe it was and they won't reveal that until later, because it went very well for Team Machine.

Lol I didn't notice that

>It's a root has a qt cover episode
the best

root is the best waifu

that whole montage of her cover identities in ep 7 was so funny

Limitless. Even when dealing with a serial killer they called him a serial hugger

webm of her after he kicked the guys theeth in?

I was like why is root stretching on Lionel's table at that time lol

>Would you like to buy some cookies sir?

The show did a complete 180. Doesn't even feel like the same show from the first 3 seasons.

Samaritan too OP

The Machine is the final boss, It is throwing all the simulations on purpose so it can get its restrictions taken off.

Given the number of episodes left I don't know how they are going to do an ending where humanity wins.

That's why its the best show on TV, and why CBS wants to kill it despite it having great ratings.

And I wouldn't say it did a 180, I'd say its been slowly mutating from procedural to sci-fi since the season 1 finale. The changeover wasn't complete until half way through season 4, but there are still procedural episodes, like last week

It makes sense based on the progression of technology from 2002 to 2014 and the fact that Samaritan has no morals holding back its abilities unlike The Machine.

Also remember that Samaritan has at least 1,300 human assets whereas The Machine has 5 active (including Bear)

and the biggest qt award goes to

This show fucking sucks, fuck off with your "comfy" reddit meme.

the show is good go fuck yourself

I haven't heard anything definite but I'm assuming this is the swansong. Just tying up loose ends for the fans.

This recent episode is really fucking with me.

Is Shaw still in a simulation? I know it implies that she isn't because whatshisface died but then again Samaritan could've just used current events and simulated a radio broadcast.
But then again when Fusco took bear to the park, bear smelled traces of her. So between then and that episode they moved her to South Africa right?

the major thing I'm worried about is that she ends up killing herself for real

>Is Shaw still in a simulation?
i don't think so. they showed samaritan switching from shaw to john and the others

Definitely cancelled, they were told when it was renewed for season 5 that it would be the last, and the official announcement of its cancellation was the same one that announced the airdates for season 5 on March 16th:

Inside a simulation of a simulation of a simulation

Eh maybe I'm thinking too hard

someone post THAT webm so I don't start watching this show

I came for Ben, but I stayed for Root and Shaw.

>He didn't come for Jesus
Heathen desu

it does seem unlikely that she would be able to escape, especially in that semi drugged state, knock several holes into walls, climb down some shaft and knock out two guys etc

>tfw you see Bear then look at your stupid dog

Have you tried speaking german to your stupid dog?

Shaw isn't human though. She accomplishes some impossible shit all the time

He watches films about Christianity

you are missing out man

Amy Acker originally studied ballet but went into acting after fucking up her knee

Amy Acker has a nice ass

If Amy Acker shaved her head, she would be bald.

the day root became vasily's waifu

>And I wouldn't say it did a 180, I'd say its been slowly mutating from procedural to sci-fi since the season 1 finale

The 180 isn't in the sci-fi aspect. That parts was always there and always loved.
It's how they dealt with it that's fucking awful.

Root in every episode and adding humor to it all -- it isn't grounded in the least anymore. No subtlety to be had.

Look at the threads, it's just Amy Acker waifu posting on Sup Forums and Root/Shaw shipping everywhere else.

Only five episodes left

lord this awful, I meant another one, though: two girls (probably these) enter from the right with two guns each and shoot those randomly into some kind of fog as they walk side-wards to the left

I don't think so

>I meant another one

hahahaha
thank you, now I won't have to waste my time

But there was always a layer of humor to the show.

I also think there's root in every episode because it's a half season now. There's a lot less time to not use her in an episode to move the plot along.

Usually when she shows up there's something plot related going on. Now that they can do nothing but plot then that's why she's always there now

>Irritated about this but not when John goes god mode and the knee capping running joke

What

Between Person of Interest, Angel, and Dollhouse, I'm convinced she can still look good wearing just about anything.

However the comedic aspect was never as prominent. All they due is cater to their tumblr-esque fans.

Just because she's there for main plot points, doesn't mean she needs to solely drive it further.

I like Amy Acker as Root but I agree she's become a bit much in the show, she can be a bit over the top as a character sometimes. I think maybe this has happened because Reese is kinda spent as a character (and Jim Caviezel barely seems capable or willing to do much in the way of heavy lifting for the past three seasons), there's not much they can do with him any more, and Shaw had to be missing for half a season.

The best scenes in the show have been Root's dialogues with Harold about The Machine. When she's on her own she can become a cartoon. I don't like it when she starts beating people up, that's a recent skill she's got out of nowhere

>it's a "Fusco goes off on his own adventure that we never see most of" episode

>Out of nowhere
She was a mercenary before she got involved with the machine

Yeah she's basically the only thing moving the plot forward since they had to resolve the gang plot quickly

CBS basically killed the quality of the the last season with ordering a half season instead of giving us 22 episodes

Remember how Carter used to go off on her own adventures that we never got to see most of?

Then we got 'Endgame'. I'm hoping Fusco will bust Decima wide open in 'Synecdoche'.

i'm starting my first watch of dollhouse today

does amy wear any cool outfits
how much screen time does she have
are there ever any dollhouse threads on Sup Forums

>She was a mercenary before she got involved with the machine
Even so, she always shot or drugged people or made use of deceptive tricks without ever needing to get physical. She never got in any fights, then suddenly at the end of season 4 she started getting in fistfights and was shown to be almost at Shaw's level.

...

very nice

There were threads when the show aired.

What was the message Root sent to Shaw before Shaw made her escape?

She wrote "4A" on her arm and I think she said 'Four Alarm Fire' but I've never understood that phrase, nor do I get what that has to do with root

To be honest the fist fights she got into were against the blonde bitch though

>nor do I get what that has to do with root
In this scene Shaw says:
>Root, no offense... but you and me together would be like a four-alarm fire in an oil refinery.
and Root apparently heard that over all the gunfire and despite being deaf in one ear

If it wasn't rushed how would of they explained Elias being alive as opposed to "He his now, It was covered up"?

She gives a guy a lap dance in some tight leather pants while holding a knife to him
She tried to bed her "dad"

Honestly I think Elias versus Dominick would've went into season 5 if they ordered a full season

bump

Who was the best guest actor in SNAFU and why was it Jim Caviezel as Detective Lionel Fusco?

It was Michel Emerson as Reese.

*Michael

So why did Samaritan care about ShotSeeker? Surely it already had access to them as part of the government feeds? NSA > Cops and all that

Best show on TV right now. Amazing how it started out as just another procedural and ended up giving us some of the best episodes of any TV show ever like the Devil's share or If-Then-Else.

I love Amy Acker so much.

>CaN YoU HeAR me?
>BOOOOOP

...

because that was the only proof that the indian girl got murdered

a lot of Sup Forums memefaggots should be watching this since Christopher Nolan's brother Jon Nolan created this show (or directs it? i forgot)

this last season is a bit lazy but I can forgive them due to half season order and probably a shit budget

I thought this season has been pretty good so far tbqh, apart from 1 or 2 number of the week episodes (although I feel like they were meant as a nostalgic farewell to the fans, but they really can't afford to not move the plot as fast as possible). Better than how season 4 started, certainly.

I'm not sure what else this show could do after the Samaritan storyline.

If there is a time for a show to end it would be when the big bad is over or when they kill everyone as Nolan stated would happen back in season one
