Yes. Scots are physiologically distinct from English people. That's why in Canada there's been a large amount of discrimination against them.
There used to be signs up all over Ontario "No Dogs, No Frogs, No Jocks". Scotsmen couldn't even serve as officers until after the 2nd World War. English-Canadians would go to the only Scottish house in town, abduct the Scots, and Lynch them on maple trees; hence our flag, the red representing the ginger hair that demarcated Scots people.
We have a Scottish history month, and we celebrate famous Scotch emancipator Macallan Luther McKenzie.
