Shit list. Isn't that the imdb top 50?

But you forgot to tell me about the films you've seen, liked and disliked..

I intended to watch a movie last night but I wound up falling asleep instead. I have no regrets.

>you forgot to tell me
>tell me
>me
What a fucking humble cunt you are. This isn't YOUR general, champ

HAHAHAHA that was great, do you have any other spicy hot zingers to throw at us?

>What you've been watching?

Pic related.

>What films are you gonna watch tonight?

I've never seen Purple Rose of Cairo so may be checking that out later.

Best recent: Probably Xavier Dolan's Les Amours Imaginaires.

Worst: Hush by the guy who may be doing the new Halloween movie. And it wasn't even that terrible.

TL: Yeah Inception ain´t as good as some people say I`ll admit that though it`s not a bad movie by any means in my opinion like you are saying

I should probably re-watch Interstellar at some point though I thought it was a good movie

snibbity snab xD

when did we get invaded by autistic finnfags

about couple of weeks ago

Do you think Paprika is better than Inception? (or you haven't seen it)

Any good people to follow that focus on specific genres?

I have seen Paprika and while I like it I think it´s Satoshi Kons "weakest" movie. I rated both Paprika and Inception 3.5/5 but if I had to choose I would say Paprika just because of the amazing soundtrack of Paprika while Inceptions soundtrack is overrated tbqh.

Is this right?

that's a random choice for Sup Forums

your boy driver is now putting movies he hasn't seen on his favorites

I don't get it - is it supposed to show the least appropriate movie for each board?

Rewatched Vertigo for the 4th time in the last 2.5 years, still a mesmerizing movie, watched Clerks II, which was kind of vulgar, revisited The Earrings Of Madame De..., which will probably get the full five stars the next time I watch it, finished the Human Condition trilogy, which is clearly overhyped in lbxd (but still pretty good) and finally discovered the surprisingly great LA Confidential.

watch gun crazy next, that shit fire

There has been a lot of double posts here lately

best: crank
worst: oxford murders

can't believe it doesn't have a cult following. it's hilariously bad.

Been at werk and watching Hannibal recently so haven't been watching a lot of movies
I still love Queen of Earth but fuck Bell Diamond is just so fucking raw it's become one of my favs
/yawned

i guess the best(s) would be spl 2 and j'ai pas sommeil, but if you include rewatches then hyperlinks or it didn't happen

worst would be x-men the last stand

Haven't seen 15 films in this. Currently downloading Deadpool.

.>no digimon movie for /vp/

I'd like to see Jost's films, like Bell Diamond :(

Buy them from his site or join a private tracker then fagboy

VICTORIA.

Hannibal is the shit. i just started rewatching s3 last night.

Yeah s1 was a bit shit but s2 is fucking stellar

>What I'm gonna watch tonight
Either "Man on Fire" or "Withnail and I"

>Best
The Nice Guys

>Worst
The Hunter

Steakbro, I think I recommended you DUST IN THE WIND in a thread last night..?

i don't know if i'd call s1 shit but it's definitely the worst of the three seasons

probably a 6/10 overall, but season 2 jumps to 8/10 and 3 is an easy 9

yeah, in the thread about THE ASSASSIN?

thanks for the rec, dude. such a fantastic piece of work.

letterboxd.com/evolution_rex/

I think I recommended you 13 HOURS too, or discussed about it with you too when I pointed out it shares a DOP with Miami Vice.

nice to see that you liked both m8

yeah, i thought 13 HOURS had some serious flaws, but overall it's a pretty respectable film for Bay. i'd still take BLACK HAWK DOWN over it any day though.

It's a while since I saw BHD, I remember loving it but it's no match for 13 HOURS.

pretty sure someone is doing it on purpose

>the ghost town of evolution_rex

It is meme from Jackieray's House of Memes.

mojave phone booth was the worst of the month so far

letterboxd.com/ihaveautism/

you're an idiot and you have shit taste

De Palma talks like a problem solver of directing, not someone interested in great thematic density as so Jackieray writes about him to justify his love.

That isn’t to say there is a political consciousness—De Palma talks very frank about the ideas of Casualties of War for example—but he describes things in their surfaces values, whether it’s the body of a woman, the texture of blood, or the delights of a Steadicam movement.

Jackieray too often imparts his own values onto a director's psychology, and De Palma remains emphatically someone interested less in the script than in the values of a surface, the pleasures created while watching

Gummo and Life in a Day

What's wrong with Gummo?

I think that circuses are morally repugnant, especially when its intended audience is supposed to somehow be "better" than the subject matter. I can see what Korine is gunning for and I think his approach is disgusting. I seldom agree with Mike D'Angelo but his capsule was spot-on (and legitimized much of what I felt). it's available here: panix.com/~dangelo/col22.html#gumm.html

but hey, a lot of people seem to adore it. I had the same experience with Kids so maybe (early) Korine just isn't for me.

Has anybody watched Eurocrime yet????

how did hush get a 3?

I rarely agree with any reviewer that I follow, but I follow them (like D'Angelo) because they write well and always refreshing to see things from another perspective.

What are you implying?

Most surely

Only if Jackieray is interviewed.

D'Angelo is a good writer with shitty pleb taste.

His style is stolen from David Foster Wallace, forgot to mention.

Any Hang Sang-soo recommendations?

hang urself

Right Now, Wrang Then is pretty great. Haven't seen an awful lot of his films.

Thought the deaf stuff was a novelty that wasn't used totally stupidly.

make a zip of your girl folder

Haven't seen you post in a long time. Purple Rose of Cairo became my favorite Allen flick after going into it blindly with low expectations.

>his favourite films are East Asian existential dramas

Right Now Wrong Then, The Day He Arrives, and our Sunhi were all great. Nobody's Daughter Haewon was decent.

>his favorite films are western dudebro flicks
