That trilogy is pretty good but I really think the supernatural Clint duology of High Plains Drifter and Pale Rider is better. Mostly because fuck Italians pretending to be mestizo. Favorite film also related: Unforgiven.

I went to the local cinema to see The Nice Guys. I rate it 3,9/5, i especially enjoyed the 70's aesthetic and the music.

Why didnt it reach 4?

Just watched the even longer (4 hours and 11 minutes) version of once upon a time in America and i would definitely rate it as one of the GOAT movies.

I own OUATIA and I didn't think it was that great. GBU is much better.

High Plains Drifter is amazing. Literally rapes a woman in the first 10 minutes and no one in the town says anything.

I honestly think the Once Upon a Time in (the West, the Revolution, America) Trilogy is better than the Dollars Trilogy. Duck, You Sucker/Fistful of Dynamite/OUATITR is particularly underrated.

Fistful just felt like it had more character, tension building scenes and was shot better imo.

Lebowksi is just the comfiest and most enjoyable film I know.
The dialogues interconnected, each scene is memorable, it's fun and most importantly it's a comedy film that is always setting up the next joke.

Fuck this movie. I love style over substance movies, but this one was so flawed. I respect its originality, but the ending was retarded, as was the doctor character, and the pacing was horrendous. Not that it was boring - if anything, scenes like the drug trip should have been longer. Great visuals and sound, but otherwise an insanely tedious and ultimately without-payoff movie to sit through
