Was it a good ending?

Was it a good ending?

It was perfect.

I JUST FINISHED SEASON 2 DON'T SAY ANYTHING

Don makes a commercial

Anyone else feels just like this guy?
Fuck, i was crying with him at the ending

It seems most on Sup Forums loved it. I'd like to know why.

it was mainly great because it ended.

I thought that was the comic book guy for a second but yeah the refrigerator guy was great, love how Don hugged him.

I enjoyed the series thoroughly but you could tell by the end that the writers didn't know where to go next, it was a constant cycle of John never being able to hold a relationship and self loathe while making his family hate him. It was a decent ending, the only other way I could see it ending is with him dying of liver cirrhosis.

Yeah
It was a decent, respectable ending. Which is rare.

Yes, but you kind of have to "get it".

The ending might fall flat on its face for someone who's a cultural retard that isn't aware of the Coke commercial , even though it's a pop culture/advertising milestone.

>the golden age of television has already been over for 1 year now

...

Mods don't ban this is art

>After all these years, I have truly become one of the Madmen

Fucking worst ending I've ever seen

The only one that didnt get a good ending was Peggy.

It should have ended with her being the successor to Don, the show made it seem like that was where it was heading and to not do it is just a fuck you to the audience.

but it wasnt bad otherwise.

I think Peggy got a "good" ending, but the execution was off. I think she'd be the one to break that glass ceiling at McCann, especially with Don most likely becoming royalty there after the Coke commercial.

>that scene with pete, peg and don sitting at the burger joint

lost my shit, seriously.

>John

This show was seriously the fucking best.

Yes. It was satisfying.

Wwas charles manson ever brought up in this show? I know they kept putting in major current events from points in the series timeline but I don't rememberr seeing that

>glass ceiling
there's no such thing you feminist shill

S07E09 –New Business

Meredith: “How do you go to sleep at night knowing the Manson brothers could be running around?”
Harry: “The Manson FAMILY.”
Don: “Are they coming in?”

he is mentioned in the last episode, when don wants to leave the retreat

Yes

People actually thought that they were all going to break into don's apartment at some point and kill megan

Don didn't die or quit advertising, so its not like he needed a successor.

That's probably a reason why I miss this show so much. It didn't NEED to end. With a show like The Sopranos or Breaking Bad, it was all over. There was no way to continue. The Mad Men universe was still full of potential stories.

Are you retarded? Most on Sup Forums hasn't watched it nor will they ever watch more than a couple episodes. It's a fucking show for women. Its biggest accomplishment is ruining Season 2 of The Walking Dead's budget.

>lowqualityb8.jpg

>I wasn't aware of le milestone until after this show
no shit.

>projecting

Hmmmmmmmm.

It kinda did though. Moving to McCann Erikson meant the end of the advertising agency as we knew it.
No more Roger showing up at midday already drunk, no more Don allowed to do his own thing and just leave for a few weeks. Pete moved on to better things, it seemed like Don found peace with himself, and Peggy finally found the right guy.
Another season of Mad Men would have had to either introduce lots of new characters that we wouldn't care about or destroy our remaining characters lives "just because".

not great, bob

i'm not actually sure even though i love the series

DID HE ACHIEVE ENGLIHTENEMNYTS?

He accepted himself for who he is

a 40 yo baby

>it's a show for women

Yes.

Is this where the tentacle fetish was born? Japanese literally getting cucked by sea creatures LOL

>am I fitting in yet?
