How could they have fucked it up this bad?
This was the terminator we were all waiting for. We finally see them take over. We meet old John Connor and young Kyle Reese. The poster is great, the cast is great, the story ideas were great (a terminator who doesn't know he's the machine, and is the first of these human-like models), but it was so mediocre in the end.

Salvation was bad, but it could have actually been good
Bale wanted a bigger role for Connor but the Writers strike prevented any script rewrites

It's tragic, I wanted this so much. Was expecting something like T2 the arcade game movie, can't remember much of it but it was disappointing as fuck.

Terminator fish and giant robots, that's what went wrong. I didn't even mind the submarine bull shit.
All they had to do was take the fucking 90 seconds of the future war that James Cameron put to film and turn it into a movie. But no, we had to have Terminator eels and Transformers The first 30 minutes was okay and then it just felt like SOMEBODY SMASHED MY FUCKING LIGHTS!

there was only one good part and it was the fight with the T-800(?) at the end solely because it showed where John got the face scars
