Reminder that Paramount/Universal/Marvel MCU was the best.
>Great and memorable villains (except IM 2)
>Touched themes of importance.
>Memorable scenes and great CGI; Brutal fight scenes.

You can't prove me wrong. What needs to happen so Disney can leave them for good?
Pre-Disney MCU
bump
Iron Man 2 had the best villain with actual motives.
I
Phase 1 in general was great, Iron Man armor had weight and a great soundtrack.
I fucking laughed everytime something from AC/DC came out when Iron man was there.
Hulk was fine
Thor was really good, nothing happened and it felt rushed the way Thor got his hammer back but it got the point across
>cocky bastard only cares for glory and himself
>exiled
>sacrifices himself to save people he barely knew on a town from fucking nowhere where nobody gave a fuck
Cap was okay, we barely got to see him fight but i was a good movie.
It's kind of embarrassing to compare Iron Man 1 CGI to RDJ's floating head in CA:CW.
>lame revenge
wow such motivation
much emotion
He's always had a shitty floating head, senpai. It's in every movie.
I loved Civil War, but literally everyone felt CGI
>reminder that Louis Leterrier was going to direct The Avengers.
How bright was the future before Joss "Just kuck my shit up" Whedon came.
remember when iron man had cool robotic voice. they took it away for muh rdj quirky quips
wait, it wasn't Disney since from the beginning?
>By 2005, Marvel Entertainment began planning to independently produce its own films and distribute them through Paramount Pictures.
>Previously, Marvel had co-produced several superhero films with Columbia Pictures, New Line Cinema and others, including a seven-year development deal with 20th Century Fox.
>Marvel made relatively little profit from its licensing deals with other studios and wanted to get more money out of its films while maintaining artistic control of the projects and distribution.
>Avi Arad, head of Marvel's film division, was pleased with Sam Raimi's Spider-Man films at Columbia, but was less pleased about others. As a result, they decided to form Marvel Studios, Hollywood's first major independent movie studio since DreamWorks.
Holy shit yeah
>dat first iron man build up
Literally cinema, i got a hard on when tony was smashing that hammer
At what point did the Disneyfication™ begin?
the era of quip started on The Avengers
Well, they refused to do a dark storyline for Iron Man 2 and Thor feels like the most Disney movie of Phase 1 but is The Avengers where the disneyfication was complete.
Why did you make the exact same thread there's in Sup Forums?
Are you THIS mad?
I'm pretty sure captain america wasn't pre Disney.
Quality wise there hasn't been a change
No smoking ban is the only thing I can come up with that Disney has caused that might be considered a negative
Why?
Iron Man 1 is the only good pre-Disney MCU movie.
The Incredible Hulk is, by far, the most forgettable and weak MCU movie, Cap 1 was a 6/10, and so was Iron Man 2.
It's also 7 minutes away from each other.
Wonder if it's DCucks or Fox shills angry due to Apocalypse underperforming.
This is a capeshit thread so it concerns both Sup Forums and Sup Forums.
There was a noticeable drop in quality about Marvel movies but it's more Whedon's fault than Disney. Their executives learned what the masses liked so they applied the formula for the rest.
>they refused to do a dark storyline for Iron Man 2
That was before Disneyfication and actually Perlmutter fault
And you need to spam the thread in both boards?
>There was a noticeable drop in quality
What?
Iron Man 2, Cap 1 and The Incredible Hulk were garbage.
It was Perlmutter's and Marvel Creative Commitee's fault for wanting to make it a 2 hour long Avengers trailer, and this shit is the reason Disney got rid of the MCC and pushed Perlmutter into TV shows.
Cap 2, GotG, Ant-Man, Civil War were all post Disney senpai
Leterrier isn't that good......
>dat first iron man build up
my nig
>There was a noticeable drop in quality about Marvel movies
Nigga you high as fuck
Aside from the 1st Ironman and Avengers their best shit has been post phase 1
this
just look at the RT
Is way better than Whedon.
VANT
Whedon is proof that Marvel is too big to fail at this point, he did his best to tank the MCU and yet it survives.
How that hack conned his way into the director's chair is beyond me.
Disney aquired Marvel in 2008 you dipshit, half those movies are under disney
Phase one was weak. Iron man 1 and avenger were the only good ones. MCU is getting better. I have enjoyed all of phase 3 so far. I can't wait for Thor 3
They did it in 2009.
