I think 90% here supports Snowden. He's now also an authority in privacy debates. But our politicians would never offer him asylum as not to upset America.

traitor

Treason is the greatest crime, needs to be killed

1. kia
2. yes
3. a hero

Only USA and Cucknada can think like this desu

Because you're faggots without any loyalty

1. Estado del Istmo
2. Yes
3. 100% approval of his actions.

Also, our governmentd official stance is that America did nothing wrong. And spying on Dutch citizens by America can help us catch terrorists.

And then Snowden revealed Dutch data gets analysed by Americans (we literally send data to America ourselves) and Americans send their data here to spy on Americans. Our government is literally in bed with the NSA.

2. yes
3. leaning towards the whistleblower narrative
(as opposed to gloryhog traitor that he is)

Only wannabe American neo-cons would disagree with that.

Death to traitors

Also I find it funny how he's in Russia when they spy on their citizens just as much

pretty much this

Brazil
Yes
They have a hardon for him.

Australia
Yes
We think he's a madcunt.

Flag
Nope
Can't comprehend the situation.

A whistleblower doesn't hide from the law, especially not in China or Russia.

Besides his "reveals" are overrated as fuck.

>hurr durr secret service can spy on people

Not really. Before Snowden a lot of people called people who said it tinfoil hats. And now they say hurrr everyone knew that. The conspiracy theorieshave been proven true.

>A whistleblower doesn't hide from the law, especially not in China or Russia.

Why not?

Traitor

Because those countries have equal if not significantly worse trackrecords of human rights violations.

The only reason they'd be interested in a whistleblower is because he has information to leak about their economic and political rivals.

Russia is literally the same if not worse, do you think they wouldn't torture and kill a whistleblower who remained in Russia? They've been known to literally arrest people for posting shit on VK

Im sure Snowden has been approached and is being spied upon. But he's still a high profile guest of honor there. He has already done enough to undermine Americas moral authority over the world. They can never pretend to have the moral superiority again.

>proven true
Yes, ceiling NSA is watching you masturbate. And jet fuel can't melt steel beams.

>A whistleblower doesn't hide from the law
the point of a whistleblower is bringing illegal shit to justice, not flee from it.
>especially not in China or Russia
from perspective of "his" country, he could be handing them over valuable intel.
from perspective of the "whistleblower" himself, it casts doubt on his motives.

They do keep records of who visits which porn sites. You can extort a lot of (Islamic) people with that information.

Yes, they can and do. They haven't had him assasinated.

Although who knows? Maybe Trump's men will "correct" that.

>the point of a whistleblower is bringing illegal shit to justice

So has this happened already? How was the trial?

Good.

Did he bring the matter to court?

Can someone unironically consider what he did bad?

Are you really dumb enough to think they would give him a trial and not just assassinate him?
Fucking lol...

Why exactly HE?

>being loyal to a morally dubious government
cuck urself lad

>Also I do find it funny that he's in Russia

Which he's also criticized: mobile.nytimes.com/2016/06/28/world/europe/edward-snowden-criticizes-big-brother-measure-in-russia.html

Every country in the world spies on each other, to think otherwise is naive. Revealing how America conducts its operations puts us at a disadvantage.

Plus he damaged the American spying machine. Digital security has been upped a lot since Snowden. And other countries are now starting to play the same game as the Americans.

He's seen as a hero here

1 - Brazil
2 - Yes
3 - Hero

>revealing the truth is a crime
Hillary is that you?

Every country spies on each other, but how much they spy their own citizens should be something known to the public. You should be aware of what they are doing and what they can do and that's what he did, he showed the world that the government had forced contracts with Google and many other companies to keep detailed tabs on everyone and that they could spy you without a surveillance warrant and they were bound by no laws.
To defend the government is to be a complacent pathetic cuck (I never use this word, but damn if it doesn't apply in here). They don't have your interest on priority, the leaked info will damage them, not you. They'd use you as canon fodder on their first chance. Specially the fucking US government, you know, the one that the CIA experimented on their own citizens and troops without telling them during the 60's.

In the Netherlands we've had several whistleblowers being locked uo and threatened with death. Only in 2016 a law was introduced to protect whistleblowers.

But some guy who warned about faulty land mines that denonate prematurely in the hands of soldiers got a few visits from the military of defense. And some guy who revealed that Pakistan stole its nuclear secrets from the Netherlands lost his job, got locked up and wasnt allowed to talk about it afterwards.

A fucking leaf

Do you also the truth of MH17?

>Do you also know*

You're an idiot if you think they would.
Also he'd make a cuter trap than Manning so that would be a waste.

Because that's what whistleblower is supposed to do. Someone else can of course do it instead, leaving that fag as just the guy who made off with classified information.

You mean the public didn't know that they have secret service that can violate their privacy when national security is involved?
And corporations don't exactly need government forcing to keep tabs on everyone, they do this well enough on their own.

Okay that's great, then he should have curated the information himself to make sure he was only releasing domestic spying programs.

He didn't, he dumped everything he had and skedaddled.

Now every organisation with more than 50 people needs to have a policy on how to handle whistleblowers anonymously and they need to investigate the issue and report about it publicly.

>Someone else can of course do it instead, leaving that fag as just the guy who made off with classified information.

Exactly. So what's the problem here?

He didn't, he used a third party to release things, most of the shit wasn't released.

CIA agents literally said they would murder him if he was in the country.
You know why Manning went tranny too, right? Disassociative personality disorder from trauma. It's remarkably common on victims of psychological torture. We can't even imagine the kind of shit they did to him. Snowden would have to be a complete fucking retard to go to court and stay in the country.
And if you actually believe that going to the legal system without blowing the whistle first would result in anything other than they burying the entire thing and then killing him then you are a naive delusional cunt.

And then a criminal prosecutor will look into the report if it needs further investigation.

The Russians did it. Or Ukraine. It doesnt matter. Its the fault of Putin regardless.

>CIA agents literally said they would murder him if he was in the country.
yeah right.
>We can't even imagine the kind of shit they did to him.
Probably explained him what happened to people named in the leaked documents.
>you are a naive delusional cunt.
as opposed to being just a delusional cunt like you.

>Or Ukraine
>Its the fault of Putin regardless.

You're fucking your own ass there m8

No, and everyone who says that in their countries they know this guy they are lying, a normal person with life is ignorant about this.

>Besides his "reveals" are overrated as fuck.
I think he's just doing this so Russia doesn't get tired of him and murder him in his sleep. I really wish the President would give him a light sentence and let him back into American society. He belongs here, not dead.

loyalty to a government that has to lie to the public wtf
