That's how you recognize joke countries with meme armies: they don't actually take national security seriously and only use it as a means to fill their diversity quotas. Compare countries like the US and even France that usually appoint men with some kind of military experience. Because their armies are for more than just show.

That said, what would you expect? Most other countries are too small to matter (or just hope to stay under the radar) or have too many problems with themselves (Italy and Greece comes to mind, despite massive military of the latter). And Germans have trauma, which is probably for the best.

Given what she has to work with (basically a glorified body of civil servants) that's not exactly hard. Call me when she has to make any legitimate military decisions, like a foreign intervention (no, sending a token peacekeeping force to keep America happy doesn't count) or actually planning national defense.
I reiterate my point: the German army exists to fill gender quotas and is more concerned with appearing diverse than being effective. I'm not saying the Dutch army is any different before you lash out in autismo-nationalistic rage. I'm just saying that countries that actually use their armies pick better candidates.
