too late
the us government is paying for it

Such a disgrace

We all will know in the "next months"

Through tariffs, which really just means we're paying for it by making the goods we buy more expensive.

>we

There's a good chance he's a US soldier stationed in Korea.

assets.donaldjtrump.com/Pay_for_the_Wall.pdf

On the bright side Mexican productors will have to compensate the drop in sales in the US market by selling them in Mexico, which will make stuff cheaper for Mexicans.

Wait... Is he seriously going to build a 3000km long wall?

yes
it's fucking awesome

you probably can't, but it won't be that expensive anyway.

You paid 100 times more money for the iraq war and probably 1000 more on niggers

We already have a lot of it built for decades now. 930km to be specific. Trump is just going to finish it off.

Trumpniggers are so delusional

Also let me just point out that the reason a wall doesn't exist already is because it's a STUPID idea. You can tunnel under it, or go around it, or bribe a guard, or fucking ladder over it. Or come over on a tourist visa and just fucking stay.

>b-but it will have guards
You faggots want small government, yet want to employ at least 10,000 new government employees. That's 2 per mile plus bureaucracy and quick reaction teams. If they make 30,000 a year (i.e. jack shit, it will almost certainly be more than that, plus federal government benefits) then that's $500,000,000 extra per year in salary and benefits.

This is a colossal exercise in wasting money. Mexico isn't going to pay for it, and even if by some miracle they do contribute it'll be some token fucking amount so Trump can say he made them pay (re: they chipped in 10% or less).

God Trumpkins are so fucking stupid.

No, we won't, finally public pressure is mounting on Nieto to walk away from negotiations. The most likely outcome today is Mexico will indulge hearing Trump's demand but accept no deals, calling Trump's bluff to walk away from NAFTA which he most likely will.

Whether he goes for tariffs or even remittances the cost will fall squarely on US citizens (the overwhelming majority of Mexicans in the US are legal) so that's done.

IMHO the issue was never whether Mexico would pay but whether Trump[s extorsion is even legal/moral. I expect Mexico will sue the US, and as usual win, which will settle that question.

Lots of mexican nationals pay taxes here, they'll pay for the wall along with the rest of us

No, even his own more ambitious plan call for doubling what currently exists, which means a good third of the border will remain fence free.

It will be an environmental disaster but Americans have made it clear they don't give a shit about that. Drugs will get more expensive and cartel profits won't take a hit. Mexico will likely stop deporting Central Americans which will compensate for whatever extra number of people the wall stops. Nothing much changes.

A wall like the Berlin wall? Or fences? This is amazing. I thought it that he was figurally speaking and memeing the rest of it on his way to the white house.

Can you imagine how much it would take to build, much less staff, something like the Berlin wall? Nah, he might build a few symbolic stretches of wall (it won't be beautiful but third world tier concrete) but that will be it, it's fences.

>yes it's fucking awesome

You DO recognize the irony in Greeks having opinions on responsible government spending, right?

It's not a wall, it's a fence, and it works just fine. The parts that aren't filled in usually have either one or more of the following:
A) Guards patrolling (don't really need a wall in flat desert when you can see miles around)
B) Private property
C) Terrain inhibits wall building (rivers, cliffs, etc)

Walls (and static defenses in particular) are a medieval solution to modern problems. They make people feel safe without actually doing much. A wall is no match for determined humans, as history has shown repeatedly (Hadrian's wall, Great Wall of China, Maginot Line, Berlin Wall, etc). What we really need is patrols with survellience equipment in communication with bases, which respond to any sightings of border jumpers and detain them. You don't need a wall. A wall is a safety blanket.

t. Juan Gonsalez

>I-I meant it figuratively, guys.
>M-mexicans are gonna pay for it by NOT BEING ABLE TO CROSS THE BORDER.
>M-mexico BTFO, right?

>the current fence cost 7 billion
>trump thinks he can build a wall for 10 billion

he'll impose tariffs on all 16% of the US imports and we'll impose tariffs on all 18% of US exports, simple as that. Bad news on the consumer whichever side he/she resides, we'll get a bigger blow, but we're kinda used to live in a shithole anyways.

He can't.

Why would Mexico accept? The leader that does would be lynched by irate Mexicans. Imagine if Canada call all Americans fat gun-toting morons and demand that they pay for a wall along the Canadian-American border. What American leader would accept it?

The hilarious thing is that Rep*blicans are the small government party. They want the government to shrivel up and go away except for the military. Except when it comes to dumb shit, like gay marriage and abortion and a dumb fucking wall that will accomplish nothing.

But then again they elected a candidate based in no small part on a cartoon frog popularized by a Cambodian bull prepping forum, so I wouldn't think too highly of these people.

You will never find a more confused and perpetually butthurt group of voters than Republicans. Like they say, SJWs on opposite day... but it's worse then that. At least SJWs are consistent, even if it's insane. But Republicans can't fucking make up their minds about ANYTHING.

>I hate Russia and am going to base my party's platform on it for 50 years! Wtf I love Russia now
>I like small government, and I want BIG EVIL GOV'T out of everyone's life. But I want to ban flag burning, gay marriage, abortion, Muslims, and everything else I don't like. Also I want to employ a gorillion new federal employees for the wall
>I support our troops and the military! But I cut benefits for the VA and vote for people who either shirked military service or denigrated the service of those who did serve

Literally confused elderly man: the party
We are so fucked

>think the wall is a stupid waste of money
>he must be a Mexican

This is why your president got impeached, because you monkies can't handle money like responsible adults.

>Trumptards
>finishing high school

Universal suffrage was a mistake

>patrols with survellience equipment in communication with bases, which respond to any sightings of border jumpers and detain them
when Trump mentioned the wall i thought it was a metaphor for the actions you mention, as well as internal incentives not to hire illegals

We should build a wall around bolivia

Juan, pls.
are you working to pay the wall?

>when Trump mentioned the wall i thought it was a metaphor

trump's not smart enough for metaphors

every country should just wall themselves in

True

Not really as big as theirs, we've got free trade with Europe and Japan, we can substitute each and every American export with something that is likely better quality and only marginally more expensive because of shipping. On the other hand they'll be getting hit on everything from suply chain down to groceries.

Boycott everything American.

>Boycott everything American.
i like this phrase

>You can tunnel under it

THE BASEMENT JUST GOT 10 FEET DEEPER !

Does Mexico even have money? Will they have to, uh, ship the women north as payment.

We will just pull a Guadalupe-Hidalgo and sell you Sonora for real cheap as a nuclear test site and we will be even

We know Trump supporters are dumb. Only a fool would look at and think ''oh, hey that explains everything!'' There aren't any hard numbers, the one mentioned is an aggregate of ALL remittances (will he tax the legal ones?) and no mention of any projections from more visa fees. Moreover, these plans aren't vetted by outside parties that could say ''yeah, this will work.''

No we won't KYS

I really like this idea

>Good post from a shart

I don't believe my eyes

as if they could pay anything, theyre poor as fuck and the cartel controls 60% of the country, pretty much trump is negotiating with the cartel and why would they pay to make drug trade harder and less convenient

>You DO recognize the irony in Greeks having opinions on responsible government spending, right?
lel

Reality will soon slap Trump in the face. He is too used to people saying yes to him. I remember Jack Ma being interviewed on tv about Trump. He said Trump the CEO can talk talk talk but Trump the President will find it very different. All those TPP nations are now looking to China to replace the US. Good job, Trump. Soon they'll realize that hey, we can still do business without the US and the USD. Then you'll feel the pain.

>Rep*blicans

Didn't americans want to "make mexico pay" for it by reducing development aid?

>Of course American company and workers should take all of jobs and money
Yeah, Trump construction company employing illegal mexicans on promise of green cards (and then deporting them anyway... hey, maybe that's what he meant)

If that's happen, probably most of TPP member will use Yuan as their primary currency

and Euro probabl;y will into China too, because US will start slowly decrease its influence in Euro

I ain't clicking that fucking gif again

>taking this kind of shit seriously
should have used @ at least.

Fuck off.

No, I think he said he'd do it by blocking remittances to Mexico by their diaspora, if they don't pay up. Or something like that, I don't remember exactly.

>literal nationalisation
That sounds retarded even for Trump.

Why to risk it?
Better safe than sorry my spicy friend

Donald Trump proposed to block billions of dollars in payments immigrants send back to Mexico if the government there refuses to pay for a border wall, a potentially devastating move for Mexico’s economy that President Barack Obama labeled as “half-baked.”

Trump, who has made building a wall between the U.S. and Mexico to curb illegal immigration a centerpiece of his Republican presidential campaign, released a memo saying he would force Mexico to pay for the wall by threatening to stop remittances until the nation made “a one-time payment of $5-10 billion” to the U.S.

“It’s an easy decision for Mexico,” Trump said in the memo, which cites a section of the USA Patriot Act anti-terrorism law that he argues can be changed to enforce his proposal if he is elected president. The Washington Post first reported his proposal.

It’s unclear if Trump would be able to carry out the plan without approval from Congress. Specialists interviewed by the Post said that such an interpretation of the rights defined by the Patriot Act would be extremely expansive and likely subject to litigation.

>mfw seeing Mexicans on this board getting more buttblasted by the day

Get ready when your country is completely owned by China my friend

>a section of the USA Patriot Act anti-terrorism law that he argues can be changed to enforce his proposal
It's like i'm watching a bad movie

Uh huh, sure. Now go ahead and try to convince me that any action that hurts Mexico is definitely against my own interests if I really think about it.

Almost everything that Mexico exports is going to the USA.

>Mexico exports in 2014:
>United States 80.3%
>Canada 2.68%
>China 1.5%
>Spain 1.5%
>Brazil 1.19% (2014 est.)

Either they pay for the wall or they are going for a deep, deep crisis if Trumps want to.

fuck you
aren't you tired of those same retarded jokes ever since the internet happened ?

...

Mexico when it was a part of Spain:
Big, rich and beautiful

Mexico now: shit

Sorry, fuck you. It's called karma

Trump said he would use tariffs against Mexico and rip up NAFTA so paying for the wall isn't going to bring economic stability anyway.

Sonorense here, I really like this idea.

Spain when had Mexco:
Big, rich and beautiful

Spain now: shit

Sorry, fuck you. It's called karma

>tfw illegal
>tfw tired of gringos and their jew kike zionism
>omw back to guatemala
>big ass wall blocking my path

And this is why mexicans are irrelevant to latinamerica.

Outside Guatemala no one really has Mexico as a close partner.

Tax the money they send out more too, they will want to leave

wall is a stupid idea unless it's something like the great wall. that way it pulls in lots of tourism dollars.

through tax money, and most unitedstatians are actually mexicans so mexico will indeed pay for the wall

that'd be like the biggest monument to hate, i kinda like it, would be like the physical embodiment to never trust no one.
It will be like that non the less, but the extra mock up of making it a tourist attraction would be delicious

>all these angry sudacas with uncle sam's dick in their mouth
I kek everytiem

HOL UP
SO U BE SAYIN
WE
WUZ
VIRREYES AND SHEIT¿¿¿
COOOOOOOÑÑÑÑÑOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

checking that 44

Will you be able to walk on it? Would be pretty sweet to take a stroll and look down on the spics.

everything done by the government is through taxes

>Would be pretty sweet to take a stroll and look down on the spics
they would be on both sides of the wall
daily reminder US is something like 50% mexican
JAJAJJA gringos on suicide watch

...

top kek, nice rekt

superpower needs to have a great wall.
finally burger will be able to catch up with eastern superpower.

not for long

>Currently, the federal government looks at use of cash benefits (like Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) when it’s making “public charge” decisions, but not in-kind benefits like Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program. This executive action, though, would ask the Department of Homeland Security to issue a rule saying that an immigrant can’t be admitted to the US if he’s likely to get any benefit “determined in any way on the basis of income, resources, or financial need.” Furthermore, people who use any of those benefits and are in the US on visas would be subject to deportation.

>imfuckingplying the masses of first sector worker illegal immigrants receive any government benefits in any form
those are reserved for the crackers and niggers

>And this is why mexicans are irrelevant to latinamerica.
Not as much as you are making it out to be, we are amongst the top 3 inside the region partners for many countries in the region including you.

>deep, deep crisis
This is unavoidable at this point, the Mexican government today drew some lines on what they will not accept, they still have to go through the motions as a sign of goodwill to foreign investors but NAFTA is very likely dead. That's 5 million jobs the US is losing that depend on exports to Mexico, as a reference Trump's pledge as "the greatest jobs president God ever created" was 15 million jobs in the next decade.

Mexico produces high tech so it's different than it would be for other countries, we will survive this and it will force much needed change inside the country. Meanwhile Americans are delussional if they think they can raise tariffs on other countries and not expect the same, are you far right Euros going to support them buying American and further cripple your own work base? Their labor costs don't allow them to compete with countries like mine, they just shot themselves in the foot.

Nah, it will be a dumb ugly concrete thing and only in symbolic stretches. most of it will be a fence and it will not cover the full border.

We have a theme park in Mexico where you can pretend to cross the border complete with desert survival and immigration agents chasing you down. I'm thinking they'll update and make it even more fun.

>he actually believes the great of china was built for defence instead of just as a connected chain of watch towers

HIGH TECH

Hahahhahahhahahahahahahahhahahahahhajajajja

Nobody gives a shit about sudacas here too

Limes Mexicanus will be built by illegals

No dumb fuck, I[m not making any claims about it other than it is beautifully built and sensible for its era. It did ultimately fail or am I wrong?

>rich Mexicans can LARP as the most vulnerable sections of their society for a day

What a world we live in

yes high tech, what is it you export besides gonzo porn?

We might give a idea to President Trump due to the book.

Donald Trump "I got a good idea. We will set books that is claimed about Mexican and Muslim Massacre to all American hotels. Then, Mexican and Muslims will not come to United States because of the negative fact against their past.
In addition, we should make a book that is claimed how Asians steal western technology from us.
Fucking China, Japan, and dirty Koreans will not come to USA lol"

Remittances are not a big part of the economy in Mexico

You are just china for us market

Us companies factories in mexico

And monitors and cars are not hight tech lol

Unironically, Chile exported the guy behind those tree maps and the whole idea of "Economic Complexity"

>33
the CHECK republic

Here is the plan since day one

>monitors and cars are not hight tech
Not the ones in your country, and I'm pretty sure China does more high tech than you.

And what is high tech about prostituting your women anyway?

>33

I agree, women should never have been allowed to vote.

Kek, you have to be retarded to treat that seriously regardless of source.
>Mexico is engaging in unfair subsidy behaviour
Mexico will not pay, it[s a very simple concept you people fail to understand because Trump has warped your perception of reality so much you aren't even asklng if your extorsion attempt is legal in the first place.

Not that you'd give a fuck about that.

This is pointless man, NAFTA is done for, Trump played a bluff and regardless of the consequences for us he'll have to deal with the consequences for you. You just lost your second largest source of exports and 5 million jobs that depended on those. Good job dumb ass.
