This began in the second season when the story began to be altered in ways that cascade further down the line from the original material and in ways that would appeal to the SJWs that whined and complained about the first season: blacks were added, feminists agendas were promoted and self-insert characters were created namely "Talissa" the SJW career woman in medieval times.
Changing some lines of dialog didn't really change the dynamic of what was happening in Danys case but I do agree does make it more blatant and simplistic for a wider dumber SJW audience.
