Because I have an IQ above 16, and it adds to the character of the artist that I'm listening to when he puts a bigger contribution to the role.
When you listen to a a Beatles song I go 'wow, John lennon is a genius', I don't want to think "wow, Shlomo Goldstein is a genius" when listening to a Kanye hook, cunt.
