I hear what you're saying but at the same time Vince Staples isn't really the best artist to illustrate this point. What she failed to take into consideration is that in contrast to true gangster rappers like 21 Savage, Vince is a conscious rapper who raps about gang life. He wasn't trying to glorify any of the things which he talked about in that song, unlike trap/drill artists and such. I can see how a young kid or a white suburban mom might get that mixed up though, so maybe she should avoid the genre and prevent her specific child from listening to rap until he/she is old enough to process it correctly.

Theres no need for hysteria, but sure, that couldnt hurt.
and yanks wonder why the world laughs at them
I swear if I see this bitch in the streets imma grab her from her hair because she's literally the most annoying thing ever and she's so fake and overreacting BITCH!!!!!!!!!!
if you live in a first world country, it's more than likely that you are a lap dog to the US and do whatever we say. that's truly laughable
contrary to what NPR or rolling stone magazine might say 21 savage is as much of a conscious rapper who raps about gang life as vince staples and vince staples himself would tell you that
if these god fearing prudes and boss hoggs spent less time bible bashing maybe they could teach their spawn some critical thinking skills

>Oh no, my children are being exposed to the reality of poverty in America and the relation of low socioeconomic status and crime which have been statistically linked over and over again in countless studies over the past few decades
I mean I can see where you might not want a young kid listening to music that deals with these topics but taking it out on the artist is just silly.
bah god it's not the wholesome family dinner table music that britney spears used to sing!
