Season 1 and 2 are great.
Season 3 is OK.
That's it. Don't go any further.

2 > 1 > 6 > 3 > 5 > 4

Chevy was imo one of the funniest things about the show. Went downhill after he left.

1, 2, and 3 are great.

4 is bad.

5 is meh.

6 is ok.

1>power gap>5>power gap>4=>3=2=6

I see a general consensus that four is worse. Is it really?

season 1 and 2 are great
rest are shit

Yes. Dan Harmon, the main creator, was fired and it really shows. He was quickly rehired for the fifth.

It's bad enough that I'd honestly recommend skipping it outright. You don't miss anything except some forced jokes that are so bad it will make you genuinely angry that people were paid money to write them. It's more or less considered noncanon in later seasons.

which started off good but quickly became so hacked together it really ruined itself

then 6 came and was okay but is better than 4 & 5 for overall consistency and quality

First four seasons were great, but it should've ended after those

Yeah, i just imagine being a the bottom eating Alison Brie's wet pussy and swallowing her vaginal discharges after I make jennifer aniston cum in my mouth.

>mfw following this show since the first episode
>having to watch it die, crashing and burning

Does the changing cast alter the quality negatively or are the problems bigger than that?

The Christmas musical episode is hilarious, but every other episode I've seen of this show has been trash.

you shouldnt be posting on this website if this show is funny to you im sorry im not mean im just saying

This. The first time I watched S1-3, I thought Abed was hilarious.

I re-watched later, but I had developed taste.

Season 1 & 2 are great imo, i'll rewatch them every now and then, the first half of season 3 is watchable but it goes to shit really quickly once you hit the Emperor Chang shit.

Still did it all for free though didn't ya, ya schmuck

The show peaked with the paintball war episodes and got good with the alternate realities episode but nosedives real quick
Would've stayed good if Chevy and Donald glover stayed in the show imo

turning Abed and Troy into retarded kids is a big part of what ruined the show

True they might as well have given Troy autism like abed. Would've explained his retarded man childness

my mom loves this show

i saw the paintball one and another one and don't really see how people find it funny or good. it's pretty terrible

>watching a show mid way through
You need that character development bruh, when you eat you don't start with dessert and then eat the steak do you?

>like abed
Abed originally was the one to get everyone together for the study group

Seasons 1 and 2 were some of the best sitcomedy ever produced to be honest

Post rare Annies

inb4that webm

Yeah but he has autism, it's stated in the show I'm pretty sure

It's a top pick

1-3 is golden
5-6 is alright

s4 doesnt exist in my world

WRONG
2>1>3>5>6>4

...

>watch your ex-wife get married on the show you created/got fired from
JUST

1 was great
2 and 3 was brilliant
4 was utter shit (compared to the rest)
5 was good
6 was great

1 - was good, finding it's footing, strong cast, weird premise
2- was great, Dan finding his voice, the writing catching up to the strong comedic cast and even passing it
3- started to flounder, Dan's voice overtaking everything. Starts to get pretentious.
4 - Dan is gone, after such an overbearing season the show can no longer rest on actors who don't care
5 - Dan returns, the writing becomes even more overbearing than 3, the cast starts to leave
6 - fanservice garbage. Most of the cast is gone. Dan's writing meant to serve the "fans" but doesn't really satisfy anyone.

This

I loved it.

1 - the best
2 - still great but not as great as one
3 - the first half of 3 is nice (until the Christmas episode) the second half is terrible
4 - A huge drop in quality but not awful
5 - only slightly better than 4
6 - Utter shit except for the perfect last episode

Season 5 is good, Chevy and Donald had already left.

Chevy is basically replaced with Mike Ehrmantraut

I have to admit that John Oliver as Prof. Duncan was really funny in that season

I bet Donald Glover is behind this

...

Yes, yes it was.
Also, it did things to my nether regions

Boop-y doop-y doop boop, SEX

I have never been as in love with a fictional character as I was with Annie

It's the face, the smile, the tits, the body, the personality, the tight cardigans and short skirts

Fuck I love her

Reddit

The steering wheel is on the wrong side.

Never made it to the second episode. The first episode didnt bait me in

that scene where the Dean thinks he invites him out for lunch is fucking gold

>perfect last episode

Donald Glover and Chevy Chase didn't bother to make one last appearance

This wouldn't be a real Community thread without a faggot saying reddit.

I miss when Community was still on and we had daily threads devoted to rubbing ourselves raw to Alison Brie's perfection

reddit show

Imo the strongest episode of Season 5 was the one where Pierce bequeaths his possessions. Despite Chevy's absence it was almost like he was there again.

>mfw first three seasons
>that chemistry
>those flawlessly executed storylines
>threads that thin line of being silly and serious at the same time
>that Abed
>Chase's first good role in decades

Somehow they managed to do a musical episode well. It was my favourite sitcom.

Both close but

2>1>3>6>5>4

Let's just say the show is too much like real community college. For the first two years you think "I'll enjoy it and move on", but then you end up stuck with it wondering why you're wasting your life.

gross

I mean, isnt that the point of the show?

>S1
Fantastic with some perfect episodes, the finale is still 10/10.

>S2
The proverbial Golden age, almost every episode is perfection and the finale is pretty much the perfect mix of parody/theme episode with an actual character conflict.

>S3
The Bronze Age, while some extremely memorable and creative episodes are there, the cracks start to show. The writing starts to get off rails and shit gets wackier and too meta. But the cast, even with their characters starting to change for the worst, is still as fantastic as it always was, so the season ends up amazing. The finale is a heart-warming send off that really gets you in the fight for more seasons.

>S4
Harmon leaves and it really shows how he was the only one that got the show. Event/meta/parody episodes are more prevalent, and so they become at lot less memorable. It starts to become less about the characters and more about the spectacle. The finale is just bad, it turns what is supposed to be a pretty important moment (the characters finishing college and deciding what to do with their lives), into just another event episode.

>S5
Harmon's back but his mojo didn't. First 5 episodes are almost classic Community. Chevy leaves a big hole in the cast, but they manage to handle it well. Lava World is surprisingly a classic event episode, with it being more about characters than the event itself. But the moment Troy leaves it's all back to parodies and meta shit, culminating in the laziest finale in the show's history, it's almost fucking offensive.

>S6
Finally fulfilling what it set to do 3 seasons before, Community rolls up it's sleeves to try and give a nice final season. Some nice episodes here and there populate the slow crawl to the finish line, where the show really delivers an impactful, well thought-out in it's meta finale, it's almost like it's Community again. But it's too late and the cast is not the same.

Overral, I'll still love it's first 3 seasons forever.

>you will never worship and tickle torture Bries flawless feet

>ywn worship every part of her and be her slave
I gave up on life long ago

1 and 2 are great seasons. In 1 there is an actual character arc for Jeff and season 2 is in my opinion the funniest season.
Season 3 isn't as good as the first two, but I'd say it's a good season aswel. Chang is getting much more screen time in this season, and his character is getting further developed. This season also has the episode "Remedial Chaos Theory" which is considered as one of the best (if not the best) episodes. 4 is still very watchable, but you'll notice how it's just not the same show anymore and that it's overstaying it's welcome. This season focuses a lot on Dean, my favorite character.
The cast is getting smaller in season 5 and 6, the lava episode is pretty fucking good, but the rest isn't very good. You don't have to watch these two seasons, but there's nothing wrong with giving it a try.

she's a foot goddess

i want her hot soles to do this to me

>what do you have great feet? whip em out

based joey

Season 4 really was the low point of the show, but I still liked watching it because I enjoyed pretty much every character on the show, even the minor ones.
I also think the sixth season was great and had some of the best moments. I haven't read up on why Honda was so prominently featured in that one episode of season 6, but it became one of my favorite episodes simply for the scene in which Frankie tells the Dean how stupid he is.

I was sad to see Chevy go because he had some of the best lines and was generally fun to have around, but in my opinion Frankie and Elroy were okay characters as well. I was honestly sad when the show ended because I watched it off and on from the first time it aired and only when it ended did I realize how much I actually liked it and how many good episodes and moments it had. It's just a nice, entertaining and oftentimes very sweet show.

I rewatched the entire show probably three times by now and I'm still not tired of it.

once you notice the concept episodes start getting track: quit.

They did the whole '6 seasons and a movie' shtick, but how would they make Community work in movie-format?

Is reddit still desperate to keep it alive?

I really love seasons 1 and 2

I think the general consensus is the movie will/would be about the gang rescuing Troy because he's gone missing on his boat trip.

>it's a Shirley gets back with Andre episode

aspergers

jeff tells him when mad

Daily reminder that Reddit litearally wrote an entire episode

What's the worst episode Sup Forums?

And why is it obviously the nazi trampoline garden?

Which episode?

Worst one for me was the puppet one or the spacetime convention shit

Season:
1>2>3>>>>>>>>>>>
the finale was great though

>This season focuses a lot on Dean, my favorite character.

The Dean; best character; even got to play The Dean of MIT in Civil War.

youtube.com/watch?v=BTe2773N9U8

Spacetime convention was beyond garbage

S4E1 I think? Whichever season opener after Harmon got fired. There was a Reddit post about how they wanted to see the next season start. It was pretty much exact to the top post in that thread.

Are you mental? That's one of the only episodes I can't even sit through.

The very best episode was the My Dinner with Andre spoof followed closely by Troy's birthday. Plebs will say that alternate reality episode or the Dungeons and Dragons episode but they are wrong.

Seasons 1 and 2 are great. The 3rd season feels like they were rushing to get as many good ideas to screen as possible and it suffered; it was still enjoyable.

Season 4 lost Harmon and it suffered and it couldn't get back on track after that.

The live threads on Sup Forums were fun.

How has Harmon not killed himself yet?

That was only a good episode because Walton Goggins makes anything good.

chevy fucked up the show
it was perfect to start and quickly unraveled
thanks chevy

Negatively

This is a thing that happened.

>6 seasons
>Only 2 are good
>retards thinks this show is great

Only plebs think any of the shitty spoof episode were the best. Top 3 episodes are:
>Beginner Pottery
>Physical Education
>Art of Discourse
All regular non-gimmick episodes from season 1.

I fucking hate Art of Discourse but it's one of the best.
I still name Basic Intergluteal Numismatics (s5e3) as my favorite.

>season 4

Those aren't even close to being the best season 1 episodes. The best season 1 episodes are

>Home Economics
>Investigative Journalism
>Communication Studies

I really dont get the herd-mentality hate for the 4th season.

Sure, some episodes are in the realm of beyond-meta, but some episodes are quite good.

My only hope is that somewhere out there they'll make Community 2 with the original cast again.

youtube.com/watch?v=hmbp8dppqfU

The only watchable episode was the Thanksgiving one with the guy from Workaholics and even that was a wasted opportunity for the potential finally seeing Jeff's dad could have been.

Where's this from?
I want to eat her boogers

WHAT'S A DIMINIWIMINYAAAH?

"Heroic origins", is probably one of the best episodes of the entire series.
