Mila was wanting to cuck Ashton
you mean that one time in 2011?
Women like to be reassured that the Chad that fucks them on the regular will someday develop romantic feelings for them.

Development takes a long time, so someone steals a screenwriter's spec at one studio while the screenwriter sells his script to another, then they race to get theirs out first.
Not all movies made in studios are their A pictures, some are just filler for that year's release schedule. You can't put all your eggs in one basket. These type of rip-off/coincidence movies are their b-team.
I know. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to be friends with a girl, only to end up having sex with her. FML.
Everyone misunderstood you OP but I see what your saying and I REALLY DONT UNDERSTAND IT
I read an article lately saying that it's because they come from one script, and sometimes developed into two different ones when it doesn't sell as-is.
the scripts exist in the studio for years
they hear one studio is about to make their "fuck buddies" movie so they other company tries to rush their version out first
Or if it Dreamworks is just bunch of assholes who are mad at Disney and try to steal their thunder
>Hollywood makes over 600 movies a year
>sometimes 2 of them seem similar
Aren't there two Tarzan movies out this year? And two Jungle Books as well?
Red Planet | Mission to Mars - 2000
The Equalizer | John Wick - 2014
>It's a badass turns vigilante after criminals do wicked bad thing episode
commando/taken/that shitty one with Harrison ford
the jews
Holy shit. I never noticed this
You forgot the 6 trillion underwater movies released in 1989
Because women will watch ANY OLD SHIT
Natalie is the only person both Ashton and Mila have kissed
Observe and Report | Paul Blart Mall Cop - 2009
Studios see an idea, run their take on it (one is almost always started late and rushed out in shit quality to beat the other one to the theater), then move on to the next.
They love matching penises at the box office with outwardly identical movies.
Both of those movies were good. They really are the same thing and Wick is better but I recommend both to everyone in the thread
>ywn kiss natalie's lips
delete this
>you will never bag the hershlag
That's because the copyrights expired.
Washed up celebrities being paired with secret Jews?
one of them was shit though
Like Father, Like Son | Vice Versa | 18 Again! - 1987 - 88

What year did the two Snow White movies come out? 2011 or 2012 I wanna say.
>Super nanny | nanny 911

A more relevant choice would be Jungle Book - Jungle Book - Tarzan
if you have to ask
you probably should not be allowed on this site to begin with
He was off by 1000. Not 1, retard.

Since everyone else is being an autist, I'll actually answer you OP. It's called a mirror movie. Studios purposely do this. It's meant to be a safe choice where they figure that there's obviously enough interest for one studio to do it, so they should cash in on the sentiment as well. Even better, they have a chance of being the better of the two and taking home the good reviews and dosh from it. It's basically a low risk way to ensure you're on the level with rival studios
Was one of them with Jennifer Aniston?
Kill yourself
>another had Tom Cruise and some other floozy
Cameron Diaz is not a floozy!
Also to OP studios commission audience studies to see what people might be interested in in terms of movie plots and themes.
Then make movies based on the results of these.
Studios have a bunch of scripts laying around with no real date for when they're going to use them. They will sometimes start production on one because another studio producing something similar.
Dante's peak > volcano

I think you're looking for this
Not him, but I've been looking for that all week. Thanks.
Who is this semen demon?
You want 3 meme arrows, newfriend
to add onto this
often studios will have similar scripts to one another, as they gather scripts over years and years that go unused, and when a rival studio releases their version of the "friends with benefits" script, another studio will look to do the same
Your gf
spoiler alert btw
Knight and Day was the one with Tom Cruise and the one with Kutcher was Killers. Both were in 2010
CIA culture creation is the correct answer.
Wasn't Gerard Butler in one?
...
>Gerard Butler
In Knight and Day yeah
Wasn't that the one with Jennifer Aniston?
Yeah. Dunno what this dude is on
high fuckin test
she is actually skinny as fuck you dog
That's not high test you faggot
because women are mindless drones and will watch anything that might validate their infantile fantasies.
true but high test is a shitty meme either way
This is one of those "Did I actually see this movie, or just the trailer?" type things.
i-is this porn
jew hack writers ripping each other off
Judge Dredd / The Raid
gonna need sauce on this huge titted slut
because film studios buy up tons of scripts, but almost never use them.
when they hear a rival studio is putting out a movie similar to one of their scripts, they decide to make their similar script into a movie as well. because its either throw the not that special script in the trash, or turn it into a movie, using the similar movie the other studio made as free marketing.
>"i liked no string attached"
>"hmm friends with benefits? looks good"
if you need me to elaborate further let me know.
not in the biz, but my dad sold a screenplay one time. not his actual job, was just feeling creative
Too bad they can't all be Towering Inferno
that's not a coincidence though, that was just Leone being an idea stealer
Volcano did have that subway guy sacrificing himself in the most horrible way to save the unconscious guy so it gets a few points for that.
