Still Untitled: the Adam Savage Podcast (Tested)
Completely Unnecessary Podcast (Pat the NES Punk)

they both cover movie news.

Favorit Podcast: Geek Juice Radio

I don't listen to many podcasts these days, but I used to listen to Film Sack (discussing a specific cheesy movie per episode) and Autopilot (discussing a specific TV show pilot per episode)

My favourite commentaries are RiffTrax (comedy audio tracks from the MST3K cast), mostly the sci-fi movie ones like X-Men, Star Trek and Star Wars.

cool film and/or television thread guys

everything mentioned so far has been film and television related.

there are way worse threads you should be focusing on.

As commentaries go, Resident Evil: Apocalypse is fantastically entertaining. As is Dog Soldiers, and the Severance commentary made me go from wanting Danny Dyer dead to seeing him as a genuinely funny guy who gets that he's a parody of himself and doesn't mind taking the piss out of himself.

>Still Untitled
>Nerdist
>Happy Sad Confused
>Empire Film podcast

Pretty standard, and depend mostly on the guests. I don't hear two thirds of them if I'm not interested in the movie.

If you haven't heard Anthony Mackie's nerdist podcast you're missing out. The dude has the charisma that Will Smith thinks he has.

Neat, Dog Soldiers is a top tier werewolf /flick/

Favorite podcast: Uhh Yeah Dude

How did this get made

...

Marc Maron WTF
Comedy Bang Bang
Star Wars Minute
Nerd Geek Dork
Biggest Problem In The Universe (or anything with Maddox. don't care for dick)

Cum Town w/ Nick Mullen and Stavros Halkias

Don't send people to /out/. That is for outdoor activities. Send them to or instead.

>ruleautists who sperg out whenever anyone talks about internet media because there isn't a specific board for it
>>>/fuckoff/

The Frogpants Network has ruined other podcasts for me by simply being better than anything else.

>anything with Maddox. don't care for dick
Nice taste there cuck

>Marc Maron
>skip right through opening shit
>cue him getting in the way of an interesting guest

>Nerd Geek Dork
I actually had to double check that was a real name of an actual podcast. I seriously fucking hate this "nerd culture" nu male "muh decade" fad.

Yeah but what's going to replace it? Right wing extremism? Sounds comfy desu

>Right wing extremism?

please

i'd rather everyone be an asshole than a faggot

please

Is that Felcia Day? Why does she look like a grandma here?

>asshole
You mean noble hero.

How Did This Get Made?

EXPERIENCE

the only correct answer

I thoroughly enjoyed Maddox and Dick shitting on each other, too bad the former cunt had to ruin everything.

Ol Billy Redface
Norm Macdonald Live (third season when)
Mark Bell Powercast
Sleepycast

Are there any podcasts that are more like radio shows? With segments or music and such? Doesn't have to be comedy, something informative is good too. I listen to stuff when I work and it gets tiring to listen to constant talking for hours.

High Society Radio
Gavin Mcinnes
Nick Dipaolo
Misery Loves Company

what actually happened though?

The main rotation of podcasts I keep up to date with are:

The Last Podcast on the Left
The GiantBombcast/Beastcast
Film Junk
Sword and Scale
Cinema Swirl

Looking for more film podcasts. Just subbed to the Next Picture Show podcast will see how that is.

As far as commentaries go. The only reason I continued to buy the Simpsons box sets was the commentaries. Although at a point the commentaries which used to be gold, the best part of the set, morphed into the new generations of writers trying to justify their shittiness.

The best film analysis podcast on the internet is Richard Spencer's Ludovico Hour.

I don't know, but somehow I think it was because of Maddox.

>film analysis
does he do Kino as well?

I like way too many to even consider, my mainstays lately have been Comedy Bang Bang, CoolGamesInc and Lore

Grandma's Virginity Podcast is pretty great. It's with Justin Roiland from Rick & Morty and it's pretty hilarious. They haven't made a new one in ages, but I'm still having a blast going through the old ones because I just recently discovered that podcast.

i never really understood some literally who podcasts, like is it a substitute for friends? Do you chuckle along their jokes and pretend you're there in the room with them?
i can understand some of them like insight into what you like but talking about shit like the news or whatever is boring as fuck and see no reason for it

Added a couple more since the last thread.

Bill Burr's MMPC
What Say You? (Impractical Jokers' Quinn and Sal)
Adam Buxton's Podcast
RHLSTP (Richard Herring)
The Frank Skinner Show (Absolute)
The Ben Shapiro Show (Daily Wire)
The Church of What's Happening Now (Joey "Coco" Diaz)
The Joe Rogan Experience (selected episodes)
Dan Carlin's Common Sense
Dan Carlin's Hardcore History
Worst Idea of All Time
The Adam & Joe Radio Show
The Ricky Gervais Show (XFM)
The Unbelievable Truth (BBC radio panel quiz show)
Tell 'Em Steve Dave
The Nerdist Podcast (carefully selected episodes)
Go Bayside! (April Richardson talking Saved By The Bell)
The Doug Stanhope Podcast
Norm MacDonald Live
Stuff They Don't Want You To Know
Hollywood Handbook

I've been downloading and adding some of these to my MP3 player as well:
struff.com/oaaudio/PatriceONeal-WorstOf-2006To2011/

Even flicks, he did Interstellar

>The Joe Rogan Experience
the last few have been a chore

>unironically listening to a nasaly manlet jew whine about how evil white identity is for over an hour

I haven't heard them. I started the latest Sam Harris one today. It seems okay so far.

Fash the Nation

I Love Films

I do movie commentaries with my mate Will. I've posted some of our commentaries in these threads before. Can only share them this way until we get proper mics to record the commentaries.

dropbox.com/sh/1scuws8h0p8kohl/AADh5F36itLvSCWlY3npmUNka?dl=0

Also taking recommendations for films to watch, answering any questions you have that are interesting to answer.

>The Last Podcast on the Left

Liberal cucks. Terrible podcast

Thanks for sharing.

Are you referring to Ben Shapiro?

I've never heard him criticise white people as a race once, he's only defended white people against the progressive anti-white bullshit. Also, his shows don't last an hour. I doubt you've ever listened to one of his shows, or seen him destroy progressives during one of his campus speeches.

A sample:
youtube.com/watch?v=8r0ht583QoU

He shits on Trump a lot. Is that what you're referring to? If he's not alt-right then he must be anti-white? He shits on Hillary just as much. Unlike Trump, Shapiro's an actual conservative. Opposes transexuals in women's bathrooms (Trump doesn't), opposes abortion (Trump doesn't), opposes taxing the rich and spending on welfare (Trump is in favour of this).

Shapiro has all of the "political incorrectness" of Trump without any of the liberal beliefs and policies. If your best criticism is of the sound of his voice, his height, and his religious heritage then that speaks volumes about your political education.

What are the best biggest problem in the universe podcasts?

I listened to the cuck one and it was fucking hilarious. I laughed throughout the whole thing

I need more

The weekly planet.

They actually hated each other and were only doing the podcasts with the fans for the last few months.

Apparently Maddox went as far as to try and find a replacement in one episode but said dick was gone or something.

Everyone had been taking dicks side so he got mad and ended the podcast show abruptly out of nowhere and is going to make something just about him so he doesn't get upstaged anymore

He's only good if his guest is interesting. I only download now if I think the guest will be good like the last one I dl'd where Gary Johnson and some neuroscientist that came on

Really good ones that surprised me were when the Bigfoot hunter guy came on that does man v wild, action Bronson, when Lance Armstrong was on

Cool. I've only seen the Rocky Horror Picture Show out of those. Downloaded that one and added it to my backlog. Downloading the film as well so I can watch it on my tablet in bed instead of messing around with VHS.

I dunno what kind of films you guys like but I'd suggest doing more popular stuff. I might check out Perks of Being a Wallflower or whatever it's called as well though, the film's on my list.

I'd love to have a commentary on one of the following as they're my personal faves:

The Good Girl
King of New York
The Warriors
Withnail & I
Monty Python's Life of Brian

Do any of these and it'll have at least one listener.

My favorite commentaries we did were the paper towns/ perks of being a wallflower ones, which we did back to back.

Some good movies there. Will see if Will's up for one of them too.

dunno, they are kinda un-PC with the shitty accents and the edgy scat/sex jokes.

they are terrible, though.

the non-stop le funny accents and muh impressions aside how can you research and then record an hour long podcast about the dyatlov pass without learning how to spell (not even to pronounce) the name? cringe af.

Is there any way to download these for listening on an MP3 player?

I've looked on the site and on Soundcloud and I'm not seeing a download button or direct link.

Nice one. I'll keep an eye on your site and see about watching paper town as well.

honestly, the funniest parts of the podcast where when Maddox's tough guy I-am-smarter-than-everyone veneer got smashed and he looked like a pussy idiot.

I like "Anna Faris is Unqualified". It's just her and celebrity guests giving relationship advice.

Her co-host is an annoying faggot but the guests are usually good. Based Evans was on the show once

Bret Easton Ellis podcast is all that I actively listen to. NPR shit when I'm driving, I like their story telling shows mainly, Moth Radio Hour and Snap Judgement.

That twitter page is a mess of retweets but this is cute.
twitter.com/unqualified/status/741355690896195584

from this page, the box in the red circle I highlighted is a download link.
billburr.com/podcast/thursday-afternoon-monday-morning-podcast-6-16-16

I meant Biggest problem in the universe podcast.

I download the Freckles podcast straight from his site.

bump

my bad, you can do it like this.
soundcloud.com/maddoxrules/2-patient-right-to-die-law

hit f12, click network tab, if the audio doesn't autoplay for you hit play, then watch whichever bar gets the biggest, right click that one's link, copy and paste into a new window and then you can save as mp3.

Cheers man, I appreciate it but I already got it going - NetVideoHunter (Firefox Addon) detects it when it's playing and lets you save it as an MP3 file.

Fully recommend that addon if you use Firefox btw. Lets you download everything from Youtube vids to porn, whatever's playing in your browser.

This belongs in Sup Forums.

I don't really listen to many commentaries but I fucking love Oliver Harper's film commentaries.

listentoamovie.com/media/index.php?folder=MS4gTW92aWVzLyhDb21tZW50YXJpZXMp

this site hosts some movie commentaries, also apparently full length movies and tv shows in the form of mp3s.

How is the spoken word a form of music?

You're an idiot. Go to Sup Forums and make a podcast thread and link us to it so we can all laugh at the Sup Forumstants telling you to fuck off.

anything from the right stuff . biz

>Robinson is joined by author Tom Clancy, who proves to be a particularly tough critic. He begins the commentary by saying, "I'm Tom Clancy, the guy who wrote the book they ignored." It just gets harsher from there. Clancy is eager to point out every single instance in which Robinson made a technical mistake, which is often painfully funny. "Ha…those people would never say anything that pointless." "This scene is childish." "That thing you did there…that's total bulls—t."

>Robinson starts becoming so fearful of Clancy's criticisms that he becomes quick to try and point out any possible technical flaws in each scene before Clancy can beat him to it

Hah Captain America in a relationship with a hot jewish qt. Just like America with it's relationship with the Jewish Princes Israel.

Cool site.

What are some good movies that don't really need the visual aspect? I guess dialogue driven films.

i haven't looked through their movie selection but from tv shows i'd definitely listen to dr katz.

Good call. I notice they do radio and stand up comedy as well.

Team America is good, Bigger Longer and Uncut must be too. The Monty Python movies too maybe. Austin Powers I thought would be good but it didn't sound good when i tried starting it out.

>CarTalk
>SciFri

The only correct answer is Hollywood Handbook

So good

I wish this thread was just commentaries because I feel like this was almost entirely podcasts and I wanted to find some cool commentaries.

recently found two podcasts i'm very interested in

projection-booth.blogspot.com/

The Projection Booth generally does film retrospectives, so what everyone does that right? well what i actually like about this one is that they actually reach out to people who write books on these films and directors, they also often edit in commentary/interview material. it's nice to hear more than two jack offs posturing what they did and didn't like about a film.

attaboyclarence.com/the-secret-history-of-hollywood-a-modern-guide-to-the-golden-age-of-hollywood/

Secret History of Hollywood is more documentary style than podcast, they have a 7 hour episode about classic Universal horror films and 15 hours on Hitchcock.

I enjoy the old Rooster Teeth Podcasts, current ones are getting pretty shitty though

where can i listen to Ricky Gervais XFM shows?

Why are you being so serious?

Red ice 2bh
Doctor william luther pearce
Also sinead mccarthy

I never see We Hate Movies mentioned on here which is a shame. They're hilarious.

All Guillermo Del Toro commentaries (especially Mimic because it's ridiculous)
Evil Dead 2
The Thing
Roger Ebert's Citizen Kane commentary

and I haven't started yet but I'm tracking down Tim Lucas's commentaries on Mario Bava films.

I've definitely watched Evil Dead 2 with the commentary on more times than without.

Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz have good as fuck commentaries too.

Mega64
Still Untitled
Joe Rogan Experience (depending on the guest)

Serial Podcast (Season One) and the Moth Radio Hour.

What did Jay know exactly about Adnan? Did Adnan kill Hae? If not, who did?
