Why are brits so scared of trees?

why are brits so scared of trees?

toothpicks are made of trees. it was inevitable

Why are Danes so scared of trees?

>forestugal

less places for pigs to hide from anal rape

The answer is the same. It is because they aren't yet boats.

they gotta fit all the pigs somewhere

fun fact: there are 3 times as many pigs in denmark as there are humans

>why are brits so scared of trees?

you obviously never heard of vicious dentist ambushed in British trees.

Like I typed in a similar thread and yet you've felt the need to make a brand new thread for some reason, ship building and being the world's first industrialised country is to blame for a lot of tree loss. We're planting around 3-4 million trees per year. We were down to 5% tree coverage after WW1, it's up to 14%.

umad lol

also this is the 1st thread i make about this topic

>We were down to 5% tree coverage after WW1, it's up to 14%
wow dude then you'll be at 50% at like 2450 nice job

>dentist escapes to the woods
>local peasants infuriated

BURN IT!! BURN IT ALL DOWN TO THE LAST TREE

England is the most fertile country in Europe, plants grow there 3-5 times faster than Scandinavia
The huge abundance of food production allowed England to have a population explosion as people didn't starve, which lead to more forest being cleared for crops and pastures
This enormous population from an abundance of food on a small island led to the industrial revolution because large populations in small areas rapidly speeds up the transfer of ideas and innovation
The industrial revolution lead to even more trees being felled

Icelanders live truly empty and depressing lives.

>yfw Icelanders can't celebrate Christmas
No wonder Jesus hates them.

They need room to lay and hatch their anglo eggs.

>so many trees in the Balkans
shame that the forests are covered with landmines

i thought that north italy was the most fertile zone in europe

Its ukraine
Pic related: chernozem soils, the best soils for crops (and practically any plant)

Europe has trees? Lol

>The United Kingdom, being in the British Isles, is ideal for tree growth, thanks to its mild winters, plentiful rainfall, fertile soil and hill-sheltered topography. Growth rates for broadleaved (hardwood) trees exceed those of mainland Europe, while conifer (softwood) growth rates are three times those of Sweden and five times those of Finland.

Depends on what you want to grow. Also the Romans really really wanted to conquer the southern half of the British precisely because it was so fertile.

I meant productive, i heard that north italian irrigation system and general organization of the agricolture is great so we have an huge production of crop/m2. I don't really know tho

USA only has 33% forest, Finland has 73% and Sweden has 69%

Cut them all down to shoot at the Frogs.

Scotland looks pretty wooded desu
