You are though. Your society is modeled after Sweden and always has been. Even when Russia owned Finland, the Fins had a good deal of autonomy, and that meant choosing to follow the Swedish model whenever possible.
Just because we have cultural connections because of history doesn't mean we need to deepen our relationship with them somehow because at the end of the day we have different origins and a different language.
