Also, there's no equivalent of a American State for a French region because France isn't a federal country and like I said above, French regions have very little power, it's not like American State who decide of a lot of things especially California which could be a relevant country if it was independent.

Well I'm a Breton and I think we are generally well liked people. There are Bretons everywhere, our people move around a lot. I never had a problem with anyone from any community or race travelling around France. People here are generally easy going, no judgemental at all.
