A foreign English lecturer at Kansai Gakuin Univ. (Nishinomiya-shi, Hyogo prefecture) told a female student from Fukushima prefecture that "I thought that if I turned off the light she would shine since she was exposed to radiation" .

The female students are losing physical condition due to spiritual shock, she says she is considering taking a leave of absence. The university side acknowledged that it was "a discriminatory remark" and decided to discipline the lecturer as a 3-month disciplinary punishment on 17th of this month.

The female students entered the university from high school in Fukushima prefecture in April 2014.

According to universities and others, when the female student was taking an English class in the fall of the same year, a foreign part-time lecturer in his 40s erased the electricity in the classroom, and in Japanese and English "(Fukushima pref.
