The beat would be a nice lofi track to listen to in the background, but that sample just does not mesh well.
It doesn't help that I know the song so I'm expecting it to break out into
"But mama said you can't hurry love! No you just have to wait!"
IDK maybe it's not your fault, but I grew up listening to music like that all the time.
I like the picture too, very interesting, but I think that sample is like when you think you're gonna get a chocolate chip cookie and it ends up being oatmeal.
Oatmeal ain't bad on it's own, but when its not what you expect, it is gross.
That being said, keep it up, but try to work on your sample choice.
