Italians like to claim that if you ordered a pepperoni pizza in their country you would get a pizza with peppers. But is there in fact an Italian pizza with only peppers for a topping?

a pizza with just "salame piccante" is a merrican thing. It doesn't really belong to italian dishes.

"peperone" means "peppers"; "pepperone" is a merrican mispronunciation, like "bolonnaise" and similar shit, usually pretending an ancestry and an origin that doesn't really exist. "Pepperone" is not an italian word.

besides,

>But is there in fact an Italian pizza with only peppers for a topping?
Yes, albeit I'd usually see them more commonly in a vegetariana (vegetarian)

I'm sure that anyone serving pizza by now has learned what americans mean when they say "pepperoni", at least in touristic places
And yes, peppers by themselves would be pretty weird for a topping

this.

Italian neckbeards, rate the pizza I always order.

First half
>cheese, prosciutto di parma, rucola, olive oil
Second half
>mozzarella, grana padano, pecorino toscano, pecorino primitivo, rukola, black pepper

40cm
32PLN, roughly 7,5 EUR plus whatever the delivery is.

i get jalapenos and anchovies and low fat cheese

...

that's how we cook pizza here at home
mind you that due to poverty we used carrot instead of tomato at the sauce as well. it's our own family recipe, not something southamericans in general do

ANANAS BROS 4LIFE

So it's not regular salami, it's the spicy one?

I'm not Italian, but would devour/10

>mind you that due to poverty we used carrot instead of tomato at the sauce as well.
Pretty weird.

I honestly did not expect tomatoes to be some sort of expensive commodity anywhere in South America besides the "frozen wasteland" bits.

Why do you say cheese for the first half and then you use very specific words for different cheese?
Anyway pretty good taste for a foreigner, try to change one of the two pecorino with gorgonzola for a stronger taste or fontina for a softer taste, choosing 2 kind of pecorino is weird, also we don't actually put more oil on pizza.

Is pineapple a big pizza meme

Stolen.

that doesn't resemble a pizza. It may taste good, I'm not contending that

I'd need at least a photo
rucola, not rukola
too much cheese imho anyway, or at least too much pecorino

>low fat cheese
eww

>Yes, albeit I'd usually see them more commonly in a vegetariana (vegetarian)
pretty much this

>at least in touristic places
well sure, that's not the point imho

it's a variety of salami that doesn't actually exist in italy, it's an american salami. The closes we can get is a "salame piccante" that is, "spicy salami"

>Why do you say cheese for the first half and then you use very specific words for different cheese?
Because I have no clue what kind of cheese the guy actually uses for the first bit.
It just says "cheese" in the menu thb.

>rucola, not rukola
it's k in polish 2bh

it's not called "pomodoro" for nothing
tomato doesn't get along with scorching sun, so it had to be imported to my country from more temperate ones (Argentina and South Brazil) and that meant a higher price than my parents could afford. now there's stuff like greenhouses and improved preservation techniques so we can get national canned tomato sauce
but yeah, carrot sauce, crazy huh

ask the hawaiians

>it's not called "pomodoro" for nothing
I had no idea about the etymology of the word until now.
We call it pomidor too.

>ask the hawaiians

actually we started it
that's why it comes with 'canadian' bacon

>eating meat

kys

i find raw pork and beef lovely in all honesty

>eating anything but meat

i'm so tired of pizza threads
it's just some dough topped with cheese, why is everybody so autistic about it? it's not even good food

Everyone does, don't listen to that faggot.

>Of course I eat meat

enjoy cancer and premature death

>I don't eat meat

thanks i will

i also smoke, drink a lot and work 24, 36 and 48h shifts at a time with a workweek varying between 48h and 96h

>I post porn in blueboards

Italians like to claim a lot of things.

I for one would like to meet an Italian whos ever taken a bath.

I have never seen an Italian shitting on the retarded anana meme only when you bring that shit up and every one ends up calling you a retard

>pizza
>""""""""It*lian""""""""

Top kek

Italians on the internet are autistic as fuck about food, always starting shit when they see some dish they don't like, just read their comments on youtube, twitter, here on Sup Forums, etc.

I don't know if it's an internet thing or if they are also like that IRL.
