I have some negative feelings about Anthony.
They get borderline irrational when I search for an album I want to listen to or already like and I see that he's reviewed it positively. This would not be an issue if I thought he was a genuine guy but this man literally adopted a bloody lisp right around the time Emma Stone got big like it was a some fucking trend and now I CANNOT take him seriously.

He threw on a lisp on like it was a fucking fashion statement right around the time Birdman came out, this duplicitous fraud. It's what people do when they're so inherently uninteresting. They deliberately adopt little quirks because they think it makes them more unique than they actually are. It might not be noticeable to someone who doesn't have it but when you do it's like watching someone go from an American accent to a tawdry British one overnight. I've always thought less of him since then, so when he likes an album I like I feel I'm somehow participating in his bullshit. It's built up to the point where I don't trust his reviews and I don't like his bloody fucking face neither.
I don't disagree with his point, but listen to the way he words things. He never directly says anything like "trust your taste instead of retarded amateur internet reviews". He just spends the whole time talking about how your taste should only be influenced by his positive reviews and not his negative ones.

He wants his reviews(all of them) to change the way you think about/experience music.
why would he directly say something so self-incriminating? obviously he doesn't think he's retarded or he wouldn't have a music reviewing channel.
secondly, the point of him citing his positive reviews is because he wants his channel to be a source of discovering good music as well, not just as a way for people to obsess over the albums he's given a negative reception and his scores for them.
i mean if we're being honest, he even admits in the video that because you like an album he dislikes that means he has better taste than you nor does it mean that he can't misunderstand or miss the point of an album

Of course he says that, but that's CYA boilerplate. The specific way he talks about people's tastes ("listen to Drake but it's not worthy of being listened to actively", and lots of shit about Future) has a pretentious tone to it. He could've just compared specific subjective life experience differences or something.
Every section of the video is unwarrantedly self-important. It's not a bad video, he makes good points, it's enjoyable, but he's still a pretentious loser.
