Poop only tastes bad because we evolved to dislike the taste. It's the same reason why humans like music. We could have evolved to like the sound of barking dogs. But we evolved to like the sound of strings instead (that's how humans eventually invented the violin, the piano and other stringed instruments).
It is only poisonous if you have an extrinsic entity in your digestive system, like an infection. So in many cases it's at least edible.
I won't argue this matter anymore. Not because I think I won, I enjoy logical debate, but because this is kind of off-topic.
