They Live
Oh hell yeah
I feel like an actual huge fight wouldn't be cool like in any action movie, but something stupid looking like this: m.youtube.com
youtube.com
Groundbeaking realism.
>all these haymakers straight to the face and no KO
unrealistic tbqhwyf. Even the hardiest UFC fighter would drop from these
The bathroom scene is Blue Ruin was pretty great.
this is worst shot scene in season 1
I'm honestly thinking of that scene from Daredevil episode 2. Nothing about it was overly realistic but by the end you felt the weight of Matt's exhaustion in just how he carried himself. You don't see that too often when it's a clear one sided stomp.
>m.
Realest of the real
test
No.
Real fights where bare knuckles impact unpadded heads results in lots of soft tissue damage and broken or fractured knuckles.
Most people aren't trained fighters with a choreographed sequence.
Typical real fights look a lot like the first fight in the parking lot in Fight Club.
But it's not. Nice lil high school fight scene but like all the other jocks wouldn't jump in to save their brah?
The Woodcutter's version of the Swordfight between the Samurai and Bandit in Rashomon.
If the jock had help from his brahs then he's automatically a pussy
Glasses kid arguably was fighting pretty dirty to start with tho. Guarantees a brah intervention.
No rules were set down b4 the fight
>Bane
hey its literally the high school I went to
Brick had way better action scenes than a hipster teen noir movie had any right to.
dunno about realism but fuuuck

Ali (2001) may be otherwise shit, but it's the only movie to portray boxing realistically. Smith (or his double?) actually does a great Ali impersonation.
Agreed
The new old boy didnt make sense. Why are they all carrying melee weapons in the US? Guns are everywhere.
KR version more realistic
bump
FIght Club had tons of great fight scenes regardless of what you think of the movie
because they're, in a way, "real"
they feel real because those guys are not fighters but ordinary joes kicking and punching other dudes to let their inner anger out

Safe House for some reaosn

Benny the Jet vs John Cusack
Bar fight in Treasure of the Sierra Madre.
certainly it is this

spotted the big guy
You know Uncle Bully is the main guy in the Walking Dead spin-off?
It surprised me but then again I hadn't seen this movie in a long time.
the yards
Looks like an anime fight. The fight in only god forgives was good. Accurate depiction of a cocky chump going up against a skilled fighter
Brick took a lot of visual inspiration from Cowby Bebop, JGL is basically dressed up like Spike
This.
James Grey is really underrated.
Killing Them Soflty

dafuq
dat growl at 4:45, what's her damage to do something so evil?
fucking loved this movie as a kid
it was so over the top my parents didn't even bother if I watched it
What's the name of that film again? Been meaning to rewatch it.
>all those pigs failing to keep the peace
A fight between two professionals will end in under 5 seconds. People thrashing and rolling around a room is what they show in the movies.
Cronenberg's 2007 kino "Eastern Promises"
The Green Room was pretty damn brutal.
that video snapshot, damn i know i'm in for some shit. Will report back after.
shit
It's a fantastic movie filled with stuff like this. Seriously worth a watch.
youtube.com
i like this one, based koreans are masters of the knives, baseball bats and metal bars fights art
Anything from John Wick
damn he really wanted to mow his own lawn
overrated garbage
Classic Noodle Time sequences
Looked cool though, this scene was top tier
