Jesus of Nazareth wasn't prophesized. The announced messiah was to be called Immanuel and be from Bethlehem. If the early christians made up the messiah figure they would have called him Immanuel of Bethlehem. The name Jesus of Nazareth wasn't connotated to the messiah in any way for the jews and in fact the fact that he was known as of Nazareth made for some theological trouble for the christians (with the census) and such.
The only probable explanation is that the christians referred to a then known person called Jess of Nazareth and claimed him to be the messiah.

If they really dont believe the existence of Christ, they must deny the existence or life of many other historical figures.
The problem is that Christ is documented in the century of his death unlike many other historical figures (alexander the great). His movement is documented as growing after the time of his death within that century. Jewish and roman historians documented him in that century.
Remember that many Jews were converting to christianity at the time and people were losing sons to the faith. Dont you think that if the Jews knew the person who was being worsjipped was a myth, they would have debunked his followers or at least documented it? Instead, they documented him and included him in their religious literature.
