It's no Entourage. I also just don't buy Dwayne Johnson, he comes off as gay too. He just doesn't sound right cursing and shit. It all feels fake and corny. The characters are ass too. Like with Entourage we had Turtle, E, Drama, and Vince all bouncing off of each other, their banter was great.
Ballers is awful, top kek fucking Rob Corddry is even on there trying to give off his best 'Ari Gold' impression. It's all so pathetic.
I mean i'll still watch it though because it is HBO, but its definitely in the lowest tier rating of ranking shows. Maybe they can bring in Doug Ellin to write a couple episodes.

agree, it's all a bit off to me. i still like the fun, mediocre vibe of it so i watch, but it is nothing more than average. i dont believe rock's acting, and all those cameos are useless.
