>Heres the back

It's a Morgan dollar. Worth about $13 in silver.

Nice gift. Sentimental value mostly. You'd be dumb to sell it.

Around 20$ to a collector maybe less

it's quite worn, so about $20

that's a coin

$1

It's from the lousiana mint because it has the O under the eagle so it's worth a little bit more because they made less. It's probably 25-30 dollars

Fuck I thought I might make some nice pocket change outta this

Worth more than that. It's about $16

at a bare minimum the silver is worth $12

A proper motto. From before the "In God We Trust" crap replaced it..
>E Pluribus Unum
>Out of Many, One.

In that condition it's worth more in silver than as a coin.

I'm aware.

I was wrong though. The other guy was right it's actually a Morgan dollar which is a predecessor to the liberty dollars. So you might get 30 bucks for it maybe give or take some. But still you should keep it.

Looks pretty game used bro.

This.
Coin collectors are pretty picky.

...

Damn Eisenhower

yours is barely good condition, you'd fetch $20

Good responses all around. So how much will it be worth 20 or 30 years from now

>how much will it be worth 20 or 30 years from now
depends on what happens to silver prices
but most likely it will be worth a minimum of $20

With Trump and inflation about a thousand dollars. Enough to buy a cup of coffee and a donut.Save it, you will need it then.

It took 118 years to reach $20. So I'm going to to guess not much more than that.

It's a coin.

>depends on what happens to silver prices

This is now a thread about silver price speculation

Did he only give you the one? Some year/mint combos (mostly Carson City ones) are worth more.

> it's still on all the coins. Lol look closer

It's still on all the coins.

I carry a 1915 Britannia penny around with me for luck

So far I have not noticed any marked improvement in luck but at least I am always prepared for a coin flip.

Trips checked.
Britfag, so I haven't seen many U.S. coins, but the dollar bill I have says "In God We Trust".
The fact that it's still there makes me feel a little bit better about the world. It was the perfect motto for the U.S.A. imo.
