THIS IS NOW A BRITAIN HATE THREAD:

I hope that doesn't happen. Can you imagine any community on Sup Forums merged with /lat/?

We had two /fug/ threads yesterday and they were pretty comfy.

because only we were brave enough to admit that there were many germs there

Brexit means Brexit.

You're no longer welcome in the European circlejerk.

>Germans trying to merge things

we're leaving the EU, we're not leaving Europe :3

>t. "united" kingdom

A salad and a yogurt

the last round will be le pen and marcon. marcon will win with a high majority of seats

alright

If I remember correctly because of romanticism in the 18th century, since then the anglos called us germany because of ancient germania.

There is a pocket of strong catholicism in North Yorkshire, apart from that probably mixed irish or just irish, theyre all over the place tbqh

Down the alley, to the left and up your gooey, buttered arse, you odorous, grape-swilling deviant.

sweet

thanks

this

it's the same thing save a quirky accent anyway

there's pockets of catholicism in the north
get a scouser gf if you don't mind the voice

If we would have had an EU only consisting of France, Germany, UK and Benelux, would we all have blandad up in the end?
Its like..
We and the french should be kinda close, but I cannot even imagine how it would be to federalize us togehter as there are so many differences that come to my mind the way we govern ourselves and behave besides the language.

>Saint
>Empire
>Romain

Macaron hehe

cheers

what the fuck is a benelux why can't you just talk like a normal person

BElgium
NEtherlands
LUXemburg

an economic union between France, Germany, UK and Benelux would have been based

it's you and the waffleniggers who keep trying to make it a political union though. Stop that. We want our own laws, our own cultures, our own borders. We want to trade easily and have really good relations but that's it

i meant macron dont bully me alright?

AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE

death to krauts

Paupiettes de volaille aux champignons aujourd'hui.

Cantine de la clinique. Ça allait, franchement

shit

It saddens me to say it, but I had better Macarons in London than I did in Paris. I mean the Baker was probably French anyways, but still...

Who are the best at hiding their emotions?

Germans, french or brits?

also well educated unlike brits who are proto yanks

>well educated

now that's interesting

why not just say that lmao

Not him but en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benelux
Is that term not as common int Britland? Its pretty prominent here.

good post

Brits 100%. I don't think Germans have emotions.

too irrelevant

oi oi oi

C'est un prestataire extérieur ou des équipes internes ? Ici c'est elior

Wth are even macarons? Until a few weeks ago I'd never heard of them but now I see them everywhere both online and in stores.

eeyeegarn

The French election can go in several directions tbqh, it's been very unpredictable so far

I think Le Pen will definitely win the First Round though

in the second round though, it could go differently

>Le Pen and Macron
50/50. Macron is safe, but Le Pen has momentum and populist appeal. Could go either way, but leaning on Macron.
>Le Pen and Fillon
Fillon landslide
>Le Pen and Mélenchon
Le Pen wins comfortably

typical pretentious europeans, normal person would say something like "france, germany, england and holland and shit"

I blame the rootless chimeric nature of belgium and our wish to distance ourself from the war by becoming something else entirely.

This

stoicism was a quintessentially british thing desu

checked

nice digits

rawr xD i ish scareh! >:3

>Bristol is Bordeaux's Twin
How is it ? I might visit it because of it.
Hope it's not a shithole like Luton

ps. not rootless,just chimeric.
Belgians have roots.

Bristol is in the southwest. It's not actually a shit hole, it's a pretty nice city. The whole of the south west is nice, nearly all the towns are twinned with French ones. When I was at primary scool (4-10 years old) we swapped some students from our twinned town for a week every year. that was neat

Its not good for us to merge, i dont understand why people think it would be, it dilutes democracy, responsibility and culture.

However that limited economic/travel union would have worked

>comparing Bristol to Luton

it's actually a pretty comfy city. Full of retarded lefty students, but it's a nice harbour city, full of old maritime history, nice nightlife, good shops and restaurants

and Maisie's from there!

>tfw you want to shavr but know you'll hate it after

too late ;_;

no nazi quintuplets!

bristol is nothing like luton
but bath is close to bristol and is probably one of the nicest cities here

>France and Germany are better at engineering than the UK

You know it's true nowadays

europe would be a lot happier if they became Flanders and Wallonia

was too late when the euro was introduced, thats when the federalists/globalists really got going

It is true, won't deny it.
It's because we keep trying to force our youth into going to university rather than getting apprenticeships and becoming engineers.

hope that fixes within the decade though. It'd be great if we became a manufacturing/exporting nation again

>Germany
yes
>France
I am no so sure, Pierre.

france is good at engineering?

That sounds great actually. I'll definitely visit it then. I was afraid it had the "former industrial town syndrome" like a lot of town in the UK has.
>and Maisie's from there!
A shame

I want to learn German one day, is it a fairly hard language to learn or is it fairly similar to English?

I also speak Welsh, so that might help with getting used to certain words/sounds.

Is Duolingo a good place to start?

>It's because we keep trying to force our youth into going to university rather than getting apprenticeships and becoming engineers.

same here
apprenticeship is seen as being a failure

>engineering a forest by planting forest seeds
Yeah, real stroke of genius there, Monsieur Mouldy.

France is exactly the same as the UK in the engineering department you mong. All tertiary and quandary jobs and barely no industry in France makes a profit.

>fairly similar to english
Well, some words are similar due to common germanic substrate but the grammar has some greater differences. Also it will be a pain in the ass for you to learn our completely abitrary articles.

nice. bristol has a nice bridge too.

Die kartoffel salat
Das rock und der Jacke
or something

hey i've stood at this exact spot
flimsiest fence/gate ever right in front of you it's pretty scary

Well, think of the things we did with you guys first : Concorde and the Chunnel

Add to it developing a solo space program, and nuclear weapons on our own

Then the Rafale, new generation nuclear subs, Mistral-class ships

Fastest high-speed rail in the world, also home-grown. Participates in Airbus. French cars win Car of the Year regularly (current one is the Peugeot 3008)

World leaders in nuclear power plant construction. Saint Nazaire shipyards delivered the biggest cruiseship ever made.

The Millau viaduct had a British architect but the engineering was French.

what's the region in France/Germany most similar to our Scotland?

I said engineering, not industry or manufacturing. Please let the adults talk

Bavaria for Germany

None in France desu

Cold, rainy, full of terrible people but Beautiful landscapes ?
Probably Normandy
