DPRK

What do you guys think about visiting the DPRK?
It seems like it would be very interesting. I was thinking about taking a 10 day trip. I know they are super strict and all that. But from what I have seen as long as you listen to what you are told it's pretty chill. they show you the nicest place in the country and give "history" of it all.
And my second question is
As an American are they really gonna snatch me up like the USA state department implies?

You'd have to be retarded to go there. Like literally retarded.

If you never say, do, or give off any looks that you imply you have any negative views towards north korea, you'll be fine.

Just don't. You're an American citizen, and with the current political climate, I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to detain you without any reason simply to put political pressure on the US. Your government cannot change their policy towards the Norks, so you'll just be semi-permanently stuck there (possibly in a labor camp).

But they have.

Even that the guy is South Korean that was "teaching" . I feel like more often then most think these people are genuinlely spies. You very rarely here about tourist being detained. Also I have been to several countries like this in Latin America and Africa. But the only country in Asia I have been to was Japan

Do it one American less on this board would be a godsend

I have notice from my travels that everyone in the world hates America but once you interact with them for a while you realize they hate the government not necessarily the citizens

The Norks detain people from countries they have rocky relationships with for political reasons.
The most recent example is them barring Malaysian embassy staff from leaving NK over the whole assassination fiasco last month.

Why would you want to go on a propaganda tour of some shitty communist dictatorship?

You are just helping fund them, you moron

should've visited while his dad was still around 2bh

Yes I understand this but people talk about them doing this kind of stuff. But it is almost always people who actually work/live there. The only case in recent years I have seen of a legit tourist being detain was that old man trying to preach Christianity to people. Idk people act like the DPRK is ran like isis. I don't think it's quite that bad

Let me ask you something India do you think if you visited you would be okay?

That dumbass was trying to steal shit. He deserve it. Your a guest be respectful...it goes a looooong way

>As an American are they really gonna snatch me up like the USA state department implies?
I hope you're trolling. They've been collecting Americans there like Pokemon.

You should definitely go. It's a lot of fun. Ordering tickets is easy heck through travel companies that specialise in NK tours.

shhhhhhh shut up you dumb sluts the stupid fat motherfucker might really go there.

>Even that the guy is South Korean that was "teaching" . I feel like more often then most think these people are genuinlely spies.
He worked with an aid organization and was a guest professor at a university. He most likely was what he appeared to be.

It's interesting. if you could go visit 1980s Soviet Union to look at shit you wouldn't go? I'm not going because it's a nice place I'm going because it's a place like nowhere else in the world. Like going to a cult meeting for shots and giggles

depends if they see some worth in detaining. Every tourist that goes there is seen as something to be used, most common form to get some currency that the guys are lacking, for us, with the current political shitstorm going on with the rockets/nukes, we are great bargaining chips.

I know was to young then

I'm pretty sure if I didn't do anything stupid, nothing would happen to me. But that's only because India and North Korea have a strictly diplomatic relationship.
We've never really had any problems with them, so they really don't have any political reasons to put pressure on my government (and therefore no reason to detain any Indian citizens in particular).

>1980s Soviet Union to look at shit you wouldn't go?
Compared apples to oranges.

>Like going to a cult meeting for shots and giggles
Yea except they can kidnap you and send you to hard labor at best for half your life. If you are into that sort of thrill rides, why the fuck not. I would pick something different though to get your daily dose of dope.

They aren't very good then they only have 3 us citizens and 2 of those for sure we're up to no good

OP knows no shit about their mad laws. It's very likely that he will be sentenced the death penalty for doing something like watching cat videos on youtube.

Aid organizations are the easiest way into many countries plus good cover. I'm not saying he was a spy but he clearly wasn't a tourist

You know what? Just go, it'll be funny.

Be sure to steal a few souvenirs from the hotel, like a random propaganda banner

1980s Soviets were actually reasonable.

This is my only concern is the current political climate. But I mean fuck there have been several hippies with dreadlocks over there with no problem

Sigh.

How many non-media Americans do you think are in NK?

Agree. Right now it is the best time with trump and fat kim waving each others dick, so nothing is bound to go wrong.

>I'm not saying he was a spy but he clearly wasn't a tourist
Did you catch the guest professor part? He was invited by the college, you on the other hand are not.

Go then.

You might spend the rest of your life doing hard labor or get nuked by us, but it sounds to me that to you it is worth ignoring. im not your mother to give a fuck about you and I hope no one does here when the fat fuck starts demanding shit in return for your life.

Sup Forumstard in thread
mock and humiliate him

Never seen official figures if I had to guess. Probably under 5000 people not counting Russians or the chinks

Oops didn't read that all the way less than a 50 at any given time?
