Well I mean their original bassist was the god Tim Wright, RIP. Check out his other music. There's very little of it but it has this surreal, slightly mundane and meditative quality that I just die for. He also has a few solo songs on compilations that are phenomenal

To be fair, most of these albums are pretty shit.

From a purely formalist perspective, absolutely women can appreciate it and probably anything but so many of the songs are written specifically to appeal to the loser kissless virgin crowd (you might call it proto-channer) that a true connection to that despair cannot be made by women. (It is suffice to say that there is certainly an album or two men will never truly understand for its connection to women's issues).
